I agree texasguy. First of all, if Qazi did not have any singing ability, why would he even be in Fame Gurukul? OBviously, many people must have sang worse than him in the auditions, if he got selected!!! Plus, it seems to me that the audience (not only Indian , but everyone in today's world) wants singing talent + performance! ITs a simple thing, would you rather watch Lata Mangeshkar in concert or Madonna? Sonu Nigam or Pankaj Udhas? I mean, its clear, in the end everyone wants someone who can entertain them. Most singers in today's world, don't really have much of a singing ability, but they have some kind of appeal, whether its sex appeal or just simply being able to entertain the audience. This is something Qazi can definately do! Plus, he is more marketable for Sony TV than say Shamit or Arjit!! 😆

just to include some spice.. have ever heard him singing.. u can't compare qazi with rest of the contestant.. they r way above him.
qazi got a diff style, for which ppl loves him.thts all

hehehe 😆 I never said that Qazi can sing well... of course compared to the others he is not that great... But he definately has the ability to be great! GO QAZII!!! and even if he does not make it in FG, i'm sure he'll make it big in the industry because of all the attention he has gotten through FG!!

thats wht.. FG is all abt singing talent.. qazi can be actor, he is not a singer... if he really wants to b an actor, then he should have applied in zee cine star ki khoj.. not in FG.... !

Wow Aries! You must really dislike Qazi! 😆 Take it easy, just an opinion. But it just seems to be clear to everyone that nowadays people want a performer, not only a singer. I know that Qazi cannot sing that well , but he is getting better and with PROPER training (which he does not get at FG) he will be a really good singer. I do have a background in music, and I can tell you that he has the ability, but no training. 😭 He needs to get proper training.

oh yeah...speaking of that..(or typing..lolx)...y dont qazi join india's best...omg, he wud be sensational...but then again, singer, actor or watever..i tink qazi got a much better heart than some of the contestant..hes so pure n innocent...

yeah...he may not be the best singer...but like soni1986_19 said...i rather watch qazi concert then erm lata mangeshkar too...lolx...yeah...i dun expect qazi to be the fame jodi..but hes prediction is pretty realistic..top 5 shud be ok...sony is gaining money coz of him ...
n if this is onli a singing contest..y do they make it a reality show...like showing the contestant living together n all...obviously the audience wud judge the person's personality and all..seeing their day-to-day life in the gurukul..juz my opinion :)

hey take a chill pill.. ppl might want performer.. but singing is also something u need.. shamit was right in debate.. when he said, when u sit at home and purchase cd or cassette worth 50- 250 rupees, there u dont c a performer, u just hear the voice, which touches ur heart.

n i think the very gud e.g is abhijeet sawant.. he is not a performer, but he is a current sensational for indian girls. .. y?

....just his voice touches one's heart. no doubt he is a romantic singer, but he too is a gr8 singer.... if there is any concert, its house full... girls are getting crazy to have a glimpse of him...

so, above performer, i think one should possess, singing ability..

as for qazi, i regard qazi as a good speaker in front of public. he is not shy, is daring, and speaks frm heart.

hope, he goes long way in future, which i think he will.

Good point Qissy!! 👏 If this is only about singing talent, why do the contestants have to live together and all that? If that was the case, it should be like a regular school, go in the morning and go back home after school. And then KIRTI WOULD WIN, not SHAMIT! Since he was the most talented of the whole lot! Otherwise, why would Shankar offer him a break in his movie? Obviously, making it a reality show means that talent is not the only consideration. And as the faculty, judges and the contestants themselves have said, that performance matters! And thtat they are learning to be better performers and Qazi is learning to be a better singer, since he already has the performing part going for him. HOPE HE STAYS! PlEASE PLEASE PLEASE VOTE FOR HIM! I'm int he US and I can't vote 😡
