in yesterdays Indian Idol.. karunya did soo much emotional drama for Maa n all... it was touching n all.. (but i feel it was totally for votes...)

i remmebr in one ranbhoomi which had Shamit, Qazi and Gurpreet.. Shamit had said that he wanted to get public votes coz he wanted to come back for his mom.. that time Javed Akhtar had thrashed him saying that he is using a pure rishta of mother-son and exploting indian sentiments for votes... Javed Akhtar did apologise in the result episode...

anyway.. i feel javed akhtar was too harsh on shamit and on the other hand II judges were just overwhelmed by emotions...😆😆😆

I have a great deal of respect for javed akhter but people misjudge at times.JA is also human and he misjudged shamit but remember he apologised to shamit the very next day.Any I think what shamit said about his mother was very sweet and genuine and what karunya said about his mom was also very sweet and genuine.I don't think that either Shamit or karunya did it for votes.But we r humans and we react to the same situation in different ways so its ur opinion.It was the last gala of the II so everyone was a little bit emotional.We can't feel what they feel when they r standing there on the stage and know that millions r watching them.

I don't think any of them did it for votes..Neithr Shamu, nor Karunya..Have u even imagined the pressure thy go thru standing & performing in front of such a large audience????? If u haven't, think about it now..it's not tht easy as it looks & sounds like..I respect all these contestants for having reached this far, where thy hve right now..They work very very very hard to get here, so pls don't mock at their emotions this way, coz it's not at all funny..bt, u might nvr u'stand until ur in their shoes.
So, stop laughing at othrs emotions, n instead appreciate them for whre thy hve reached today.

I am sorry to say but I completely disagree with you ... You call being emotional ONCE in the whole show as DRAMA ???? 😲
Coming to that stage of the any show, they wanna publicly aknowledge the efforts ones parents have put in for them ... There is nothing wrong in doing so... Being in their position, I dun think anyone of us would have even stayed so calm for so many days .... They are humans afterall ... They can't bottle up emotions ...

It was so genuine in both cases ... But it's sad to see how people interpret these emotions ... .. My heartfelt wishes are with both of them ... !

It wasn't just them .. EVERY contestant, be it FG or II has at some point cried for their mothers ... ! I dun wanna point and be called biased, but you know what I mean .. ! So was EVERYONE crying for votes ??? 😕

I am still shocked by your comment ... I really hope people are not thinking in these terms .. I can't imagine if they are ...

In the midst of all this, where did the singing factor go??? What happened to the excellent songs that they sung ??? If a person can emote so well that people actually have tears in their eyes, then THAT is what is called TALENT !!!
