well for a confident person, he is not worried about somebody shadowing or overshadowing him / her, confidence and jealousy are two different attributes and they do not meet any where, thats what i feel so somebody overshadowing someone or other way round is not a confidence or over confidence.
Jealousy is something when you compare yourself withsome and when you feel or thik that you are better than the person with whom one has compared onself and the matters become worse when you believe that the awards or rewards should received by the other person, actually belong to you since you believe you fair better than the other person in comparassion.

i dont think u'll be able to get a debate out of this kavitha cuz no one wud be able to justify their point if they think that arpita was jealous of sumone

good definations willows but how does that prove that arpita was jealous😕

well i have already stated the reasons that she did not get the rewards as best student and she felt that in comprassion she was a better person to get the FG title.

Is this not a definition for confidence.whats wrong in thinking so?.Infact every successful person thinks he is the best.If u underestimate yourselves then the success is so far.

well the bridge between thinking that you are sucessful and actually acheiving something and becoming sucessful is sucess for me personally.

The sucess should not be what a person thinks, sucess is measured by person acheivements in life.

thinking that u r more deserving is perfectly allrite willows but that doesnt mean that a person is jealous

well if you feel that you are rightful owner of some award, based on your talent and when you crib about it, that the right decision is not made, i think this falls within the ambit of jealousy as understood by me.

Arpita felt that the judges made wrong decisions by not awarding her the best student, she thought she was more talented, now if you feel that the judges who are expert/ authourity in the field as wrong just for you have not received something which you,( i stress the word " you" )are more talented and versatile, i think is a emotional outburst coming out of something called jealousy.
though the above is my personal view, i would like to close it at this.

Even there comes some circumstances in our daily life to face partialiatiness.In such situation is it worth saying oh i made a mistake or u will spot out that some one did it intentionally??

First of all jealousy comes only when the person under estimate oneself or due to inferiority complex.
We all know Arpita is over confident then how come she can be jealous as well.
