It s not only shocking. but it was very disappointing too. but one thing is for sure ppl really dont care who has talent and they dont have any knowledge abt SUR and TAAL, now i think even Arijit may be voted out against Ravinder. Now it hardly matters to me who wins and who loses. I have boycotted the show, wil just watch Fame Jodi Concert on 18 Th Nov.
Plz dont feel bad delphi_oracle. Rahul wil outbeat everyone in future just some months to go, All his movies for which he has sung wil be released. I think he is juz not lucky in gathering fans to vote, especially when ppl like Ravinder are there

i know the quality that rahul has will help him to reach his goal, i remember that sonu said he has potential to reach top 3 in II, sonu also said that his mind is a mind of composer and he sings for himself, i just hope that when he becomes music director, as rahul wants to become music director, he will definitely be very successful in life

Bilu, since you are so confused about my response let me explain.

The original post said "Indian junta is mad", because Rahul was voted out.

My response was to this term. I responded saying, "Its the same junta that voted Qazi time and again."

In other words, what I tried to project was that 'the Indian junta is NOT mad'. It votes and gets what or whom its want.

Its like politics, many times the most competent or derserving people don't win. Why - Because of the same junta.

Just like there are other factors in politics like muscle power, rigging and the like, so too in voting contests. I'm not saying Ravinder got voted through rigging. Voting results are a combination of several influences and factors, and not just talent and popularity.

Actually even Mona who is a decent singer is nowhere in comparison with Rahul in feel as well as alaap..so i think that there is some sort of manipulation on the channels part to keep interest alive in this dull as ditchwater show...
and all u guys dont feel so badly for Rahul. today he has a name for himself! if i'm not msitaken (US members pls corect if i'm wrong) American Idol runners up Clay Aiken and Bo Bice are a much bigger deal today than the respective winners (whose name even i dont remember!)

so rahul can get a record good deal even without winning this FAKE competition. so can arjit because of his versatility and even mona bcos she is pretty. so come to think of it maybe janta thinks only Ravinder actually needs to win this to go foward in his career!
