The heartthrob of millions, he is a Banaras boy, with an engineering degree in Industrial Production from down south. Amit always wanted to pursue acting and started his career with music albums. He has worked in some Hindi cinema; and is now exploring the shores of Indian small screen. He has been acting for seven years now. On a personal front, Amit prefers going for coffee with friends over partying, night out for him would be dinner with small group of friends, loves walking on the beach and also enjoys swimming to keep fit. After seeing his mother suffer from cancer, he had a deep desire to do something for people suffering from life threatening diseases. He is living with a hope to make at least some difference to their life of people around him, and this what has motivated him to participate in Celebrity Fame Gurukul.
