Until they restarted doing "demos" in this week's FIR episodes , I hadn't realized how long it's been since they did a demo.

They should do a diwali episode... Hopefully soon.

I guess they didn't really do a Diwali episode.

It's been forever since Chandramukhi Chautala praised herself saying "Duniya mein aise do hi log hain jo har kaam kar sakte hain.

Ek to Amitabh Bachchan.

Aur dusra... main".

For some reason I thought of this one. Does anybody else remember this? It has been a while since I heard that.

Hmm, I don't remember that one 😕 is it from the very early days of the show?

From the very early days, what I do remember is that Chandramukhi couldn't speak english at all, she was as bad as Gopi is these days 😆 and they all used to be somewhat corrupt. As in they would take money from people and keep it for their own personal use. Now CC is very fluent in english and she's very ethical as well... and I think I like it this way 😊

Ya even i miss her rishwatkhori-she used to do dealings -those were too funny-guess she got serious with age(of the character)-bring in ali to infuse more comedy!!1

No - From the middle period with Ali Asghar. I started watching the show towards the end of the Makhan Singh era. There were times where CC was doing kabaddi matches with an entire set of pehalwaan-body builder types besides the irregulars. I think it was said around that time and the lagori/tikkar-billa eps.

I do remember that all of them would take bribes earlier. But over time - especially from Makhan Singh to Ali Asghar, CC became almost a local hero against everything bad. So I guess they decided that they couldn't show her taking bribes any more. Probably because SAB tv wanted to show "honest" but completely wacky policewalas to their "family" audience.

Oh, I remember that episode, where no one could challenge the kabbadi players until CC beat them one by one 😆 I think I started watching just a bit before that.

Yes, CC and G/G used to be somewhat corrupt initially and many of their cases involved taking bribes. However, now CC is shown in a completely different light. I don't mind though... and some modifications are necessary over the years.

I am missing Chandramukhi Chautala (CC) saying words like "chakallas" and "Kainya-panti" to describe Gulgule and Gopi's (2G) antics.

Things like "Donon ko chakallas ke siva kuch soojhta naheen hai! Are, kaam kyun naheen karte? <to Gulgule> Kitne dinon se koi case khatm naheen kiya? <to Gopi> Aur tu, kaunsa case chall raha hai, pata bhi hai?" or words to that effect.

I had never heard of these two words before.
