What if another person does not like what I write even if I write according to the book only?

Okay, so should everyone write the full story or write only his/her own selected person's life journey 😕 I mean, if this is going to be a combined literary work written by multiple authors then someone should start with Shantanu and Bhishma first, then let the story proceed, finally Vyasa of Karna should start from Karna's birth and childhood and so on, on the other side Vyasas of Pandavas can continue their parts, and so as Vyasa of Panchali. For Krishna there will be a different side, that too may run simultaneously.
So what to do? Writing only selected parts and then joining them, or writing the full story?
And I too have this question, "What if others do not like my writing even if I follow the source?" 😆

Anu, I think I'll stick to my compiling job. Once u writers, start - pearls r going flow like no tomorrow, so will keep a track of that and put everything together.

Maybe who ever starts the thread can add the pg number of where I put together the writings, so people can enjoy major portions at one go.

Can somebody give out proper rules, so that everyone is in agreement.

Then I guess you should create the chat thread for your ease 😊 you can maintain an index too and compilation can be done on first page itself.

I think Anu started the story with Shantanu a few pages back. The rules are still a bit hazy. Someone should take the job of writing it down.

I think writing selected parts of ones chosen character would be better. Writing the whole story is time consuming.

@Urmila - ur question - Once the rules r fixed write what ever u want as long as it is mentioned in the story, that's what was agreed by many. If other don't like it - too bad for them 😊

Maybe if any particular character gets too whitewashed, then there r a total of 7 Vyasa's so, they can give in their pearls, I guess.😆

I think Brishti wanted to start the thread. I can do it, if she is Ok with it.

That's good, but as authors we need some imaginations too because everything is not written in the story. Certainly we are not going to copy paste from KMG 😆 so, some creative liberties should also be there as long as they do not contradict with the basic nature of characters. The main flavour of original Vyas's epic should be kept intact. We should make our story on that frame only. Just my opinion.
