In the May 7 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Gangadhar Rao orders Raghunath to inform Sleeman that he wishes to meet him immediately. He then orders Pradhan Mantriji to handover 8000 gold coins to Lallan's widow. Pradhan Mantriji is surprised to hear this and reminds him that he had promised to hand over the gold coins to the person who finds the culprit. He questions Gangadhar Rao about why he has decided to give the coins to the culprit's wife. Gangadhar Rao says that Lallan's wife is not at fault.
Sleeman tries to convince Gangadhar Rao that Marshall has left Jhansi. A livid Gangadhar Rao refuses to believe him and shows him Marshall's badge as proof. Sleeman accuses Gangadhar Rao of doubting his loyalty and insists that Marshall has left. Gangadhar Rao is determined to find Marshall.
Marshall is shocked after Sleeman informs him that Gangadhar Rao has found out that he is in Jhansi. Lallan's wife falls at Laxmibai's feet and thanks her for handing over the gold coins. Laxmibai is shocked after she reveals that it was Lallan and a British officer who had a golden color tooth, who were responsible for the blast. Laxmibai realizes that the lady is referring to Marshall. Laxmibai is haunted by memories of Prachi's death.
