5th May - Written Update

Laxmibai refuses to hand over Prachi's ashes for immersion. She says she won't allow anyone to immerse the ashes until she avenges Prachi's death in the May 5 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV.

Vahinisaheb insists Laxmibai handover the urn containing the ashes. However, Bajirao advises Vahinisaheb not to force Laxmibai as she is determined to take revenge for Prachi's death.

Sleeman offers condolences to Gangadhar Rao on Prachi's demise. But Gangadhar Rao gets angry at Sleeman as he failed to protect them. Sleeman points out that their job is to protect Jhansi from external threats and not the internal ones.

Gangadhar Rao makes an announcement in Jhansi that whoever will give information about the person who planted the bomb, will receive 5000 gold coins.

Sleeman advises Marshall to go undercover as he fears Lallan, a soldier with the Jhansi army, might reveal Marshall was the mastermind behind the incident.

Two soldiers ask Lallan about his whereabouts at the time of the blast. They suspect Lallan as he knows how to make a bomb. Although Lallan is petrified, he convinces the two guards that he wasn't involved in the conspiracy. Lallan is unaware that Gangadhar Rao is present over there disguised as a guard. Gangadhar Rao suspects Lallan to be a part of the conspiracy after he overhears his conversation with two guards. Will Marshall succeed in hiding his crime?

I really loved the episode it was so sad. Ulka did a pretty good job as well as the rest. Prachi was so adorable, I was so touched. I will miss Ulka, she was born to be Jhansi Ki Rani . I am not sure how the new actress will fit into the role but she has some big shoes to fill.
