In the April 16 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani on Zee TV, fearing the repercussions, Laxmibai's father tries to convince her to keep the identity of Krantiguru a secret. But Laxmibai stays firm on her decision since revealing the truth would not only save Samar Singh's life, it will also wipe away the false allegations that have been leveled against Krantiguru.
Motibai too tries to stop Laxmibai, by reminding her that the kingdom of Jhansi needs a revolutionary like Krantiguru now more than ever. However, Laxmibai refuses to change her decision.
Fraser cautions Marshall by saying that Krantiguru's demand of having him present at the court may be a trick to rescue Samar Singh. However, Marshall feels that he has covered all his corners and Krantiguru will not be able to defeat him again.
Before going to the court, Lazmibai tries to speak with Gangadhar Rao about Krantiguru. However, Gangadhar refuses to discuss the matter since he is sure that Krantiguru will fail to keep his promise and appear at the court. Gangadhar Rao says that even if Krantiguru arrives, he will be dealt with in the harshest manner possible.
Before Gangadhar Rao leaves, Laxmibai tells him that anything she has ever done or will do is due to her love for Jhansi. Though Laxmibai's statement confuses Gangadhar Rao, he blesses her to have the strength to protect Jhansi.
