In the December 2 episode of Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV, Vahini Saheb breaks the news to Manu that she is engaged to marry Gangadhar Rao and become the queen of Jhansi.

Meanwhile, Moropant informs Tatyaji and Panditji that Bajirao has accepted Gangadhar Rao's marriage proposal. When Tatyaguru returns to the palace, Bajirao updates him about Manu's marriage.

The episode takes a dramatic twist when Manu refuses to marry Gangadhar Rao; accusing him of being cruel. Moropant tries his best to convince her but she does not listen. Meanwhile, Gangadhar Rao is informed about Bajirao's green signal for the marriage.
