Maina bai and Vahini Sahib are pickout out saris, ornaments, etc. for Indu. When they ask for Indu, they find out that she is at the riverbank. At the riverbank, they look for Nana Saheb, and see him with Indu's groom. They see that Indu's groom is an elder man.
"I won't let her get married to this man" says Manu
Vahini Sahib arrives. "Manu! Don't talk such things! Or else a great rishta will be ruined!!"
Manu disagrees. She tries to explain that the groom is too old, but Vahini doesn't listen. She gets angry that they saw the groom before the vivaah. Vahini takes away Prachi and Indu.
The kids arrive at home. Indu starts crying. Vahini tells Moropant to asks your daughter what happend. Moropant finds out that they saw the groom. Manu tells them the truth about the groom that he has two children and is older than her dad. Vahini starts bad-talking Manu, and Manu interrupts her. Her father gets angry that Manu is fighting with elders.
Manu refuses to accept these traditions. Her father gets angry again, and Manu runs away. The elders talk about how Manu has to stop this mischief. The king errives in Kanpur, and gets a grand welcome.
Manu and Indu are at the riverbank again.Manu remembers what she endured and heard. Vahini comes to them and explains the importance of following traditions, and of getting a girl married. Manu doesn't argue. She goes and cries on her father's shoulder. On the other hand, Jhansi ki Raja is doing an aarti of Saraswati in a temple.
Manu apologizes and promises to follow her dad's orders. The epi ends on the Raja, Manu, and the goddess in between
