If Veera's first priority is her Veerji, Baldev's first priority is Bansuri & Manjeet. I agree that Baldev wanted to be a sarpanch but I would have appreciated if he had not pushed Veera out of the elections by unfair means. What he did cannot be justified by any means.

Bansuri is no better than Veera. Coming to their spouses, there is a vast difference between Balwant & Baldev. Balwant is very matured. Baldev is also very good at heart but is a spoilt brat.

as for school n mall debate...when she took him around the school, showed him the benefits of the school...he had relented n told her that he will give the land for the school...mainly cause she wanted it...but then when the mall guys tricked him...instead of waiting for an explanation, she insulted him, by throwing the money on his face...i dont know if u are married or not...but for guys, this is kinda huge insult...so everytime she has kept insulting him...again n again...n hence paved way for bansuri, manjeet n the mall guys to brain wash him...

remember the time when they came home married...he went against bansuri, so that veera could be with him as his wife...it was Veera's idiocy that pushed him away from her n towards bansuri manjeet n the evil builders...

he did love her a lot...and that too unconditionally...it was when he tolerated her insults time and again...and later started feeling that for her he is just a pet dog, that follows her...she doesnt respect him as a person, neither as her husband...so bitterness started filling up within him...hence bansuri, manjeet n the builder guys could succeed in brain washing him
