DISCLAIMER - no bashing,no moral policing. If anybody has problem with this post,thats nt my problem. Request to fellow members,if u find any cmnt abusive,dominating,kindly report that one. Don't involve urself in fight by quoting. Thank u :-) Main Post - As we all knw ratan resigned. She gave the reason,bt i don't agree with that. My ques is that - what u've done if u were stuck inbetween? Mine is - i would've passed this on people,gave one day. Next day,whatever panch decides,that would've been the final decision. Pls give ur views.

If I was in that position, I would have conducted the voting for school and mall and decided on majority basis.

Thanks Sheetu for this wonderful post. Although it is very difficult to decide in such a situattion where one side is your daughter and another side is your Son-In- Law, with the fate of community hanging in butween . If I were Ratan I would have selected 5 senior men from the village, apart from the members of the Panchayet, like Balwant and Chaiji and asked them to vote and requested the Panchayet to consider that as my casting vote to solve the issue. At the end of the day what matters is the welfare of the village. Rtan has done a blunder by resigning and asking Veera to stand in the election.

she created a big blunder,infact it shows that u r nt able to handle this post,u've no confidence in urself. Biggest and important one,once again conducting elections means,wastage of time and money of people. Its nt done!

If i were in her place, i surely wouldn't have resigned from my place immediately coz running away from one's duty only shows that person's cowardliness and nothing else..
she could have bought an EVM and asked people of the pind to vote for either mall or school...after all, the school and mall are for the janta and not for only five of them (i mean the panchs) so who are they to decide what is best for the village??

I will go with the majority basis! The one which most of the ppl wants, i will make arrangements for that! If both have have equal votes, then i will make sure both are built and make the necessary arrangements so that everyone's wish could be fulfilled! :)

If I was in Ratan's position then I would have conducted some kind research/data gathering from the other Pinds, which have had malls and schools and then decided on which has had a better rate of success. If there was not enough time to get that kind of info, then I would gone with what I think is best coz either way I was gonna get accused of being biased.

Also I wouldn't have just asked only 2 individuals to speak in support of these projects, after all it's a matter of the entire Pind. The whole process in the show looked so unimportant and informal, it looked like as if they are deciding kiske ghar pe diwali ki party rakhenge.🤪🤣

Edit: Forgot to add that I definitely wouldn't have resigned like Ratan did.
