New article about Di & Farnaz

Mumbai: Digangana Suryavanshi, of Popular Television show Veera has always been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The media is full of stories about this 17 year old throwing tantrum on set. She can't apparently see eye to eye with her co-star's especially Farnaz Shetty who plays Gunjan.

Recently, there were reports of friction on set over make- up between Digangana and Farnaz. The shooting was allegedly also held up for a little while; the director had to step in to calm things down.

A source who did not want to be named said that one of the senior actors did not like this ego clashes and apparently gave both the girls an earful.

However when we spoke to the producer Yash Patnaik , he did not seem to perturbed , "small tiffs happen. But I guess this is a part and parcel of any show. Till date nothing major has taken place. Digangana has not really tried to act pricey, had she done so, I would have had her thrown out a long back time. I don't tolerate too much tantrums on my set. Further people need to understand that she is very young hence she must be given a certain benefit of doubt."
We then touched base with Digangana to get her side of the story she said, "I am a thorough professional, I always give my more than hundred percent to my work. Despite that it is sad that some people have an agenda to malign my image."

"As far as the above make- up incident is concerned, people need to understand that all these decisions are creative calls over which I have no control. I just had a frank discussion with them as I feel that the look was not fitting my character. It is not as it is portrayed that the shoot was held up. The other actors were shooting." she added.

When asked point blank about Farnaz she says, "We are never friends and can never be as we are two different individuals. At one time we were good co- stars at best but all this negativity has put me completely off regard her. It is sad that she talks a lot behind my back. I don't think I would want to use the word friend for her."
