And Veera is bashed more than Gunjan on this forum nowadays. I don't understand it, not even one bit.

I commend Mohini for making this post. Because Veera is the only protagonist on SP that seems like a normal, girl-next-door to me. She's actually closer to reality than the Aksharas/Gopi Vahus so adored by the masses. (Dare I say, even YHM's spunky Ishita seems to be bitten by the Mahaanta bug)

I can relate to Veera, can see some of her traits in myself, my friends, or even casual acquaintances. So if that makes me a Veera-Bhakt, I am proud to say that I am one.

Yes, I really don't get that. How could Gunjan have had such staunch supporters who had always justified her actions no matter how low she fell and yet Veera, who is one of the most refreshing serial heroines of recent times seems to ignite such hate?

i too was getting annoyed with the growing no. of Veera bashing posts in the forum with no fault of her... so had to make one in her support! 😆
im glad that she's not the typical mahaan SP lead!
she is flawed like normal humans!
so wat if she takes Baldev for granted!
isnt it typical human nature to take ppl we love for granted?!
i too take my parents & siblings for granted!
that doesnt make Veera so bad that ppl will make posts bashing her every now & then... just cos she doesnt behave like typical bahus of tv soaps!

i had to vent out these things!😆

Gosh don even get me started on Ishita..Tying a rakhi on a guy who almost raped her 😕 I don get the thought process of these mahaan female leads..But at this point, i don blame the makers cos the moment a girl has her own opinion & doesn't let the guy walk all over her, she is termed as selfish & not deserving of the male lead..But when the male lead abuses or mistreats the girl, we think of infinite theories to justify it..Like how its because of his damaged childhood, its just his defence mechanism, you can still see his love & passion just from the way he abuses her blah blah blah 😆

I guess people are accustomed to two types of heroines- 1. the mahaan ones or 2. the damsels in distress falling pop into the arms of their well-muscled knights in shining suits...ahem, armours😆😆 So anyone with even a semblance of normality is, I quote, "selfish", "taking advantage" and whatnot.

And I don't have the gumption to see a woman tying a rakhi to her molester, even in fiction. What gems does Indian TV come up with?🤢 But sadly, there's an element of truth to it. There was this baba types insaan (I forgot his name) who said that if Nirbhaya had prayed to God and called her attackers "bhaiya", she would have been spared🤢🤢🤢 I don't have any words to say about this, I REALLY don't.
