What have they done to Baldev?

I quit watching this show but I couldn't resist making this post. What have they done to him. His character is already butchered. But man they way he dresses up. Wussup with those hideous shirts. It makes him look weird. Did they throw his kurtas in the garbage?

I agree about the kurta part...really I too miss them😒 but I don't feel that Baldev's character has been butchered.😆All the things he has been doing lately like being concerned for Ranvi is out of his love for his Sherni...and he has been known as one who could do anything for his loved ones. Like in the scene at the MD's office,he lost his cool only when the MD asked Veera to get out...till that point he had controlled his anger and even when the MD insulted Ranvi he was angry but did not react. Likewise a few days back we got to see how he threatened the taxi driver.Small incidents like these point to the fact that he is still the same only he has matured a bit and so doesn't lose his cool easily.He loves Veera very much and so supports her and comforts her...but that does not mean he has turned into a doormat. I don't believe that he is a typical AYM who should keep dominating his lady love. Though he used to be a male chauvinist in the Sarpanch track, he had never applied the same restrictions on his Sherni...and in fact he had accepted her as she is and so is aware of the importance her Veerji has in her life. Though I feel Veera has a long way to go to love him in the way he loves her.We do not get to see much of his angry grey self just because previously he used to have the nok-jhoks with Veera but now they are lovers so obviously he will treat her differently like a true lover.

The current Baldev is definitely boring for me😆 but I don't feel that he has been butchered. He has mellowed out a lot since he got together with Veera. For me the most frustrating issue with him is that he never talks about his sarpanch dream as if it's possible to just up and forget about your childhood dream. 😵

If he ever turns abusive or if the sher inside him fails to wake up when everyone is opposing his relationship with Veera then I would say that 'yes,he has been butchered'.😆

As for the kurtas, there is absolutely no reason why a pind guy and an unemployed one at that has to spend the whole day wearing full sleeve shirts that too tucked in. As if he is ever gonna work at an office.😳

It almost feels like the Patnaiks are doing it deliberately to frustrate us. The shirts look cheap but wouldn't making him wear his old kurtas be cheaper for them, if money is really the concern for this bankrupt PH.😆

I wish I could quit but the show and Vishal/Baldev have become too much of a habit now.😆

@Riya I have a feeling they have auctioned the Sarparnch track wala cool kurta's to pay for Nihal's character 😒and so only have the old silk kurta's left...but I think because of the humidity and the fact he feels very uncomfortable to wear those silk kurta's in this weather, Vishal has opted to wear these shirts instead. so we have to wait for the winters to get his Kurta wala look back

I don't think those silk kurtas would even fit him well anymore as he has gained a little weight since then.😆

A few weeks back I was so optimistic about the return of his kurtas. I felt that they would defo return during the 'family manao for their shaadi' mission and if not then the kurtas will surely make a comeback when he turns destructive during their separation. But now I can't even seem to hope for that. It seems as if the shirts are here to stay for an indefinite period of time and the show-runners themselves haven't decided when to switch back to the kurtas.

Do MaSh really hate us so much? Can't they at least give us eye candy to wash off the stench of their sh*tty writing?😒

P.S. Yes, if he feels betrayed by Veera he will definitely recall his dream. But how long do we have to wait? The show is unbearable now. It has been close to three weeks since I absolutely loved a scene.

^^ you have point there...🤔 separation ke time the kurta's can make a comeback coz he will be back to his old self...🤔 but yaa don't think the separation will last that long that they will get rid of those shirts I think they introduced the shirts as they felt it would be easier to show a pind guy romancing a educated girl if the guys is dressed in shirts😕 and since the guy is from a pind lets not give him good sober shirts but tacky wacky shirts...but they could have used the short kurtas...that made him look cool as well as a pind guy...even giving him something like Ranvi's kurta's would have worked...

Dont even get me started on Baldev!
He has not been butchered IMO but yes is hell boring now a days!
Saying that, although I was over Baldev's obsession long back, was still watching the show out of habit & bcos he was the only character worth watching!
But since this R track has started, even he has become so boring!
His horrible wardrobe is making the matters worse!
I dont understand why the producers are doing this to the character who brings them numbers & the actor who is so talented & best among the rest!

seriously i was yessterday baldevs imtro look clean shaven and wid dat red kurta and black coat and full on attitude... to his look today.😭... i know he might have matured as a person... but why should dey change his cool dude looks and make him look like a uncle😕... n hideous checked shirts seriously... pls get d clean shaven baldev wid his cool kirtas back... pls buy some cotton kurtas if not silk but pls do something soon...

I will be honest I am totally bored with the show at the moment. I am still watching it though. Baldev is not butchered just mellowed. But I like the glimpses of the attitude wala Baldev. I just loved that guy.

honestly saying show is getting boared😔 ballu's kurtas am missing them badly [:'(] sometimes i feel like tv ke andar guske sara shirts burn kar du ...but ballu's character is not butchered...his attitude his style is lost due to nowadays rona dona track...
