You gave a great example. Angst, passion or whatever isn't when they fight with each other or the hero manhandles his love. Its about those unsaid feelings. Its about what makes you feel sad yet go mushy thinking of how much love is there. Its about all those unsaid things which don't need to be put into words.

And though there are going to be fights, it doesn't equate to all this.
Maybe I am comparing with other shows but I don't see what's wrong in expecting some good things that I saw somewhere else.

Yes..THAT..I love that phase man..Where you hate yourself for loving that person, where the idea of being in love with that person is repulsive yet you cant help but care for him/ her & your heart breaks to see them in pain..That tussle between the mind & heart..They had such a great platform post the Sarpanch track..Baldev had every reason to hate Veera at that point..Yet he was subconsciously in love with her all along..They could have used that to write such brilliant scenes..Where Baldev wants to hurt Veera but something stops him when he sees her in pain..I had actually imagined a few scenes in my head too..But nothing of that sort actually happened 😆

IDK, I will need him to get the old look again to decide if its only wardrobe problem but yeah, better jackets could help a little.

He looks fine offscreen 😆 Did you check out those pics of Vishal in a white shirt? He looks great..Its the wardrobe Kurta 🥺😆

That level of loathing is perhaps not possible here but the conflict could have been elaborated.
Like the last time when he made her slip and then also went to check on her. Things like that for maybe a few more days followed with a confession to himself. It doesn't even need to be long. An "I love her" would have sufficed.

That I believe, could have made this more believable.

Veera broke his heart + his dream..And the kind of state Baldev was in at that point, he had every reason to despise her 😆 They really could have dwelled on it a lot more..But i guess they were in a hurry to start the love story 😆 And you know how the writers of this show are obsessed only with one character so all that will remain a dream 😆

I agree with you bud...too much glossing over and not enough heft. That has become a serious problem for me with the show...it used to be better pre-leap and back then they were dealing with kids...and stories of childhood...they did a better job of that than what they've done post leap.

Baldev's realization could have been handled way better...in fact so could Veera's...all the points you both have mentioned are exactly right...there was so much scope after the Sarpanch track for some serious drama, but nope they wasted every opportunity...

I'm also with you about those kurtas...I want them back😳

Happy Shappy needs to go...and never come back😡

The dance is cringeworthy. I suffer from secondhand embarrassment.😆

So I am not the only one who thinks that the dance ( expression of happiness and love for the girl😳) makes Baldev look even more lame 😆

Yes Ranji. But I think its unfair to compare this with what Gul does. They are on different tracks altogether. Gul has always stressed on the poles apart quality of her leads. VeeBa on the other hand aren't like that. Yes, it is a hate turned love story but there is a difference.

And to expect something like that from what we have seen these people make, is just too many expectations. So I am just coming up with the least I could've been content with. I will obviously be happy if they go all the way.
