This I agree with 100%. The Gunjan and Ranvi scenes are so contrived most of the time. Since she came back to her parents house, it is a little better coz they are living apart. But otherwise it is just so repetitive. Also, the characterisation of Ranvi post leap is very disappointing. They have turned him into a shadow of his former self. He is not half the guy he used to be at double the age now! I just don't know what went wrong. In their attempt to make him a simple and down to earth guy, they turned him into a weak and sappy guy! In the beginning of the leap, though not the same, I found his character watchable. But since the Gunjan drama escalated, he was turned into a spineless avatar of his former self.I agree that Veera used to be the street smart savvy one and Ranvi the strong and righteous one. Now he is not strong, and in his attempt to seem unassuming, he comes across and totally under confident. Yes Veera is more educated than any of them. But that does NOT mean that others can't hold their own with her. Baldev always holds his own with Veera. She actually respects him now. Heck she fell in love with him! This is Veera we are talking about. For CV's who got it SO right with Baldev's character, whom they could have easily turned into a cliched villain type... HOW they got it so wrong with Ranvi is beyond me! I rest my case!
