According to Kerala calendar - today is Karkikadakam month - 1st - in this month ramayan is read in Hindu houses and medicinal diet is followed ... it is auspicious and it is also the effective method to stop infections and diseases in the heavy monsoon rains .. So this is Ramayan month 😃
