I don't think Gunjan was right to react like that. If she was uncomfortable about the relationship between Ranvi and Veera, she should have spoken to her husband in private and had a civilised discussion. However, considering the development of her character so far I don't think she is mature enough yet to do any civilised discussing. I think CVs are still developing her character like they are with the others. She has been out of her mother's influence (and in a more loving and supporting environment) for only a short time. I don't think it is realistic to expect her to change so quickly.

I like Gunjan character ... she is my second fav character in the show after my darling Ballu! I for one am still patiently waiting for her to change to the preleap Gunjan.

i dont understand how people are saying that gunjan is right😕
may be she's right she's hurt but no need of insulting and yelling on top of her voice everytime why doen't she talk to ranvi or veera privately
they are childhood frnds and she's not new in ranveera's life
i remember gunjan saying to ranvi that he's not only brother to veera but u'r a mother and u cares for her more now where's that gunjan🤔
why the hell she's competing with veera in every aspect veera is trying to behave normally but gunjan is unable to do😵 and ranvi i dont understand why does he love gunjan😳

Gunjan did know about the suprise Bday plans. RATAN had told her but she refused to get involved. Why didn't Gunjan tell anyone from ss family about her suprise bday plans? Why didnt she get them involved? Did she expect Ranvi to celebrate his bday with only her? Thats so ridiculous! He does have other family too, it's not like he's an orphan with no other family except for his wife.

Secondly I hope that Veera wont befriend Gunjan, or follow her around chanting 'Gunjan bhabhi' till she actually gets an apology from G! Veera is not Gunjan's punching bag and she had no right to treat her like that; to scream at her, treat her with such hostility as if she were nothing but dirt, and to make those baseless allegations against her, such as Veera taking everything away from Gunjan and Veera being unhappy with RanJan's marriage. it was really hypocritical of her to say all those things against veera considering all her misdeeds and the plotting and planning that she has done since marrying into the SS family, she hasnt exactly been the ideal daughter in law! Right from revealing the birth related truth to Veera, to attempting to run away to Canada with Jagjeet, and attempting to steal money from the family, Veera knew about it all and has covered for her. She united RanJan!

Im not from India, so I don't know if G's behaviour is considered normal and acceptable there. A lot of her fans seem to be desensitised to her outburst and apathetic in general towards anyone but her. But where I come from we certaintly don't disrespect and verbally thrash family members including our sister in laws, like G did, to express our 'frustration' and expect everything to be okay.

THNAK YOU for saying this! I am not from India either. So maybe this is a cultural thing? Maybe in India, after you get married you are supposed to COMPETE with your husband's family for him? You think only YOU have the right to be with your husband. Even his birthday has to be celebrated with only you??

Also, if you don't think you are getting due importance, you trash the house and scream at your sister in law? Call her names? Tell her she is the problem and that SHE has an issue with your marriage?? (When she is the one who brought you back into the house?? She could have easily let you go, and had Veerji all to herself!!) The RUDE and disgusting way she spoke to Veera is fine? But to date, Veera has not revealed ANY of the nasty things that Gunjan did!! All she has to do is TELL and Gunjan will be screwed! Especially if she told Ranvi that Gunjan is the one who told her about her birth!!

But even still people on this forum keep saying "she is his wife" etc etc, in a pathetic attempt to justify for manic behaviour! They think it is NORMAL to throw things and scream at your sister in law? Sorry but NO! Such disrespect would NEVER be tolerated in my family. The one I was born into, and the one I married into as well! We RESPECT each other. If we have an issue we TELL. We don't YELL and break things!!

Like ASR used to say "UNBELIEVABLE" is all I have to say to the people who justify Gunjan and thinks she is normal?? Maybe where they are from this is normal. But not from where I come from!!

Gunjan is quite right, in my opinion.
She may be immature and did many stupid things (like faking nightmare), but she loves Ranvi (and she proved it in the fake wedding episode) and she is eager for his attention. Whether Veera was one of the reasons for their getting together is not relevant anymore. Ranvi is also shown to be in love with Gunjan, but somehow was unable to express it as openly as Gunjan. Would Ranvi let go of Gunjan, Veera or no Veera? I don't think so.

Now, as a new bride, the frustration at unable to spend quality time with husband is quite natural, anywhere in the world.

There are some disadvantages in combined families and this is one - lack of privacy for the couples. It is normal that newly weds in combined families are given some privacy deliberately, but it is not happening in this family.

Yes, it is immature to yell, but clearly it was a breaking point after so many similar situations. And she is indeed shown child like and immature so that is keeping with her character. Further, the words she yelled are all factually correct, aren't they?

Why didn't Gunjan tell Veera about her surprise? Who is asking her not to receive love? Along with Ranvi, her entire sasuraal loves her. She is the one who is against Veera because she is jealous.

In my opinion, I think Gunjan is not wrong, it is Veera and Ranvi are the annoying characters. Grown up man you are married you have some responsibilities toward your wife. I haven't seen them spending quality time together as husband and wife since they are newly married.
Veera is always in his mind like eating lunch together, Gobi Sabzi is Veera' favriote. Oh why not call her to have lunch with her when she aready had had her lunch. Ranvir is annoying. He need to understand that Veera is not a kid anymore, he can give space to her.
Plus Veera is not God why this show always make her Mahaan always. For change give someone else a chance to do god for the Pind. She is educated with modern thinking, don't she understand that she should give sometime alone to Gunjan and Ranvir. Since they live in Joint family she didn't even bother asking Gunjan once that if she is planning anything for Ranvir's Birthday.
Ranvir and Veera always act annoying specialy that Ranvir.
