Ranvi is not only known by his father's name pind ppl have always found his advise mature and have appreciated him after the leap when there was a tussle between dalveer and some buyer ranvi sought out the matter and was appreciated by the old man and I dont know y is evry1 saying ranvi doesnt have an identity he is a farmer

ok here's what i think...Ranvi could have done many things...become mahan or whatever but he only has good will in the villagers mind nothing more...
if his past deeds mattered that much to villagers, they wouldn't have believed him when he took full responsibility for being in a secluded place with a girl of the village...this itself proves that the reputation Ranvi holds is merely equivalent to a bubble that will be burst if handled harshly...

frankly, i don't think a guy like Ranvi should hold sarpanch's post...he isn't suitable for that...

I didn't express my opinion anywhere after Monday's episode, but I'll do so now. What Veera did was right..and the reasons are aplenty for that; one, when you love someone- okay, care for someone, surely you can't be sweet all the time, praising them in whatever they do. Sometimes a rap on the knuckles is needed, tough love we can call it. Those who think that she doesn't care and her outburst was merely out of frustration, do reflect on the dining table scene; she herself recalled Baldev defending Ratan's honor in front of those ladies and called him a good person.

And secondly, her point was completely justified because what she said was right. If you minus out his father's name from Baldev's name, he stands next to nothing. It's high time someone made him smell the coffee, because if this continues and a disgruntled Balwant disowns him one day, (I can easily imagine this after that spoiler), he'll regret not having anything to fall back on. Getting hurt during the practice is better than during actual game.. And a part of this is going to happen at the time of filing of nomination papers, when he stands as a lone warrior among all the fiends that have ganged up with his opponent.

So Baldev needs to stand on his own and make a name for himself, not for showing off to anybody but for betterment of his own life. When people recognize you by your name based on your work, -big or small-; the joy that gives is incomparable to anything.

And my third point is, every girl looks for some basic things in a guy when he approaches her this way. First and foremost, sense of security; physical and financial. Yes, Baldev is strong and can very well protect her but what about the financial security? Sure, this is 21st century and a girl can take care of herself but a husband who doesn't earn and has to borrow money from his father every time is a huge put off, at least for me. All lovey dovey stuff is fine but in reality, only love is not enough for a life time commitment called marriage.

This was just my point of view thinking from a girl's perspective. I don't mean to say Baldev is a bad person or anything. He is a gem of a guy and everybody knows that. I want him to win all challenges; present and futuristic ones, on his own efforts. And he shouldn't win because someone arranged for him to win or because someone gave up their post, trying to be great.

At the end of the day, I am a big Baldeva fan girl so please don't think that this was a bashing post. I just felt I had to state my point on this issue. Sorry if I bored anyone..😳

Well this topic whether Veera was right or wrong in that episode has been discussed time and again, but nevertheless I would like to reiterate my view point once again for the highlighted part. All those who were under the impression that Veera's outburst was justified, as she was trying to knock some sense into Baldev came out as a bubble. The Gurudwara scene yesterday proved it, Veera was clueless how she has motivated and inspired Baldev to prove himself. Had she yelled all the nonsense for transforming Baldev then she would not have been surprised!!!!

Another main thing Veera did mention Baldev's positive side infront of her family I agree, because her heart unknowingly has started swaying ever so gently towards him. She did genuinely mean that he is a good person!! But the very next moment when our smart Baldev used her point logically to prove the fact that he has successfully completed all the 3 challenges reality sank in. Her dilapidated pupils proved the fact that Veera was reminded of the challenge only when Baldev pointed out that to her!!! Veera for a split second once again became confused when Baldev pulled her close to him with that intense look. She took a second to respond, which is quite unlike her!!! So whatever she spoke afterwards looked like a retaliation to me and in no way a just verbal feud wherein both the parties have an equal chance to prove the point!!!

Then if you have noted in the beginning of the confrontation scene she was talking to her bestie Amrit about Baldev!!! From when actually Baldev became a topic of discussion for Veera??? Her moving away from the dining table at the arrival of Baldev was also kind of running away from him. She has started feeling strange around him and she insulted him to get away from that.
All those who feel that it is perfectly alright to tell a guy that he is worthless and not worthy of getting married to any girl, I have nothing to say to them!!!! All I can say is that, had Veera told this to someone else, they would not have heard this like Baldev, be it reel or real life!!!
