It's not about who takes the lead in a love story. I was a fan of Sasural Genda Phool where the girl wore the pants and I really loved their love-story RG story has been very poorly written and executed. The writers just couldn't decide whether to make G a grey character or completely negative😆

True true.. I like SGP too !! And wahan bhi it was the boy who was shy and girl who was bold. But their scenes were so well written (credit to the actors as well) that I used to enjoy watching their love story.. Yahan main problem writing ki hai.. 😳 Even the actors are just avg.. Kuch impact hi nahi aata hai scene ka !!

So will continue maintaining good relations with his future in-laws.

Exactly. In an attempt to give a love-hate angle to RG story, the CVs killed their sweet-innocent vibe. And not all actors have the calibre to pull off average story.
