Just watched episode and I agree with most of what you guys say...but I still say Ballu loves Veera!!!

He doesn't know it...that's why he's fronting like he doesn't! It's not his words that you guys should focus on but his actions...and they're speaking loud and clear...he loves her!!! It's not the fluffy Bollywood singing and dancing around trees love, which would be obvious to our oblivious Ballu babes...he loves her deeply...in his bones!!! It's in how he treats her how he looks at her!


Loved Chaiji!!! She's been my home girl since the show started and now we all know tha she's a Veeba shipper!! And Ranjan fans shod love her too...she's all for the couple having their alone time! She gets it;)))

Im not saying he doesnt feel anything for her.
He does have lots of hidden and genuine feelings for her.
But he's not technically in love.
He doesnt realise the extent and depth of his own feelings.
Thats because his feelings havent been tested till now.
He thinks that since she loves him he shld do a favour by loving her back too.
Love never does any favour.
It also means sacrifice...had he been techinally in love...he wld have let her win the challenge or wld have wanted to spend some quality time with her all alone.
But he was more interested in winning the challenge and fighting with her.
But I feel once she rejects him he'll start taking things more seriously.
And maybe then he'll start realising the depth of his feelings for her.

He wants to marry her because he wants to...yes he's being stubborn about it...but his little monologues "veerakdhi aagaya Tera Sher" etc...are indicative of the fact that she's never far from his thoughts...for Ballu this light hearted flirty stuff seems easier for him to handle...and because he is getting a reaction from here, and a reaction that isn't totally negative by the way, is also a perk! And he isn't being forced to confront his real feelings for her!

He doesn't have to jerk her around or at least try to like he used to...the whole Karan track and definitely the hug changed the dynamics for the both of them...I stil hold that for his this change began after the motorcycle incident...it was then that he became more aware of her!

Also if you guys remember he didn't handle this initial "awakening" very well...his whole demeanour during the cricket match where Veera got teased by the other pindh guy...even before she had arrived he was deep in thought and not happy about it...after he left for some cha he was still deep in thought until the same guy provoked a reaction from him! Ballu doesn't like confronting his inner feelings...his deep most feelings.


Ballu loves her...he's doing all if this other stuff because his conscious self hasn't awakened fully to the reimagining yet...but he's getting there!

Mohini...I'll agree that he doesn't know what love is and he doesn't know what he feels for Veera is love...but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. He does. 😃

Love isn't about doing favours...his whole zimmedari speech doesn't make sense to us to Baggi...or even to Ballu...he just isn't willing to change his tune cuz his ego is hurt...he wouldn't be doing her favour by agreeing to marry her, he would be doing himself a favour...and he's not too far from realizing that this is his main reason for pursuing this! She's said it many times that she doesn't want to marry him...he'll realize soon enough that he isn't pursuing this just cuz of his jimmedari to her but because he really wants it for himself!

As for sacrifices...yes love doesn't sacrifice...but winning bets and what not are light hearted fun stuff...if it was something serious then he would sacrifice without a second thought...case in point:
He sacrificed his time and energy, plus his jeep lol...in an effort to stop Veera from boarding that plane to London...he didn't have to do this but he did...even he hasn't realized his true motives for doing this!

Case in point#2: getting on the radio...putting himself out there to get her the help that he thought she needed but since he didn't have the expertise he went to the guy who he thought did!

There are probably others I can't think of right now...but the point is Ballu loves Veera!

Even in his day dreams where she is his wife...we don't see him lording over her at all...he sees her as herself, respects her and envisions caring for her...even at the expense of his own mother...his subconscious is slowly but surely making it's desires known...poor Ballu

^^ Sunny, I agree with M.. He defn likes her ( yesterday's movie scene jahan vo Veera ko dekhte rehna chahta tha, Sunny, hum toh aisa tab bhi karta hai na jab we have a crush on someone). Likes to tease her.. Fight with her.. But its not love.. He hasnt realised his feelings for her.. Only when she rejects him he might feel something..
Take for eg. VeeBa's scene after Veera realised its Ballu in disguise , Baldev behaved just like he used to behave pehle.. He ONLY wanted to win the challenge..

Btw suddenly I want Veera to fall in love with him first and then make him realise! 😳

Yesss exactly, you're with me then LOL.."he does having feelings of love"...he loves her even if he doesn't realize it yet! Just because he doesn't know what he's feeling for is actually is doesn't mean he doesn't love her...and ive discussed this in a previous post...what he thinks love is (from his own discription...it's a stupid discription and it's wrong lol) and what love really is are completely different...so I makes sense that he would deny being in love with Veera because what he feels for her doesn't match what he thinks love is!!

He is definitely a confused guy 😆...bichara...I want him to realize soon but I don't think he will I think that Veera will realize before he does

It looks like Veera will fall for him first after he starts ignoring her.
And seeing how egoist he is he wld never admit that he loves her so easily.
