PART12:

The next morning, Veera came home quite early. Bansuri was taking a shower and Balwant and Baldev were at work. This gave her some free time. She went up to her room and saw the bed, it was messy everywhere.

Veera: Ek raat kya kahi or rahi, uss Bandar ne to pura karma hi bighardiya

(Veera: I just stayed one night awat, and that monkey has messed up the room)

She rolled her eyes as she started cleaning the mess. Bansuri was passing by when she saw Veera cleaning the room. She smiled and thought to herself that having Veera as her daughter-in-law wasn't that bad of an idea afterall. After Veera was done, she came downstairs. Bansuri was in the kitchen preparing food so Veera helped her.

Bansuri: Veera, aaj na, mennu apni saheli de ghar jaana hai, sham ho jaye gi, odi kuri da wyah hai na jaldi, to madat karni hai mennu... sham tak ajava gi main, tu sambhal le acha?

(Bansuri: Veera, i have to go to my friends house today, it will be late, her daughter is getting married soon and she needs my help, i will be back til evening, take care okay?

Veera nodded as Bansuri went out smiling. Veera laughed and rolled her eyes. When Veera was done, she came out and looked at the clock. It wasn't quite time for Balwant and Baldev to come, so she decided to take some rest. She was about to go upstairs when she heard Balwant and Baldev come in. She became a little shocked.

Veera: Papaji...

Balwant: Sasriakal puttar, wo aaj jaldi kaam khatam ho gaya na aes waste... Bansuri ji kitthe hai?

(Balwant: Hello dear, the work was done early, so we came home early... where is Bansuri?

Veera: Papaji wo apni koi saheli di madad karne gayi hai, ke rahi thi sham tak ajaye gi

(Veera: Dad, she went to help some friend of hers, she said she will be back until evening)

Balwant: Changa

(Balwant: Okay)

Baldev noticed how Veera didn't give him any importance, it seemed like she didn't even realize that he was there. He made and irritated face and was about to go up when Balwant saw him.

Balwant: Baldev? Kitthe chala hai tu? Khana to khale

(Balwant: Baldev? Where are you going? Eat your food)

Baldev: Nahi papaji bhook nahi

(Baldev: No dad, i am not hungry)

Balwant: Par puttar, tune kuch nahi khaya, chal aa ab

(Balwant: But dear, you havent eaten anything, come on now)

Baldev somehow wanted Veera to say all this, but she didn't look at him at all, she was busy serving Balwant.

Baldev: Koi gall nahi papaji, ki farak pehnda hai

(Baldev: No dad, who cares)

He said with a sarcastic voice as he looked at Veera, but again, Veera didnt seem to care.

Balwant: Bas Baldev, ki natak hai, chal jaldi aa ke kha

(Balwant: Enough Baldev, what are you doing, come and eat)

Baldev had no choice, so he came down and Veera quitly served him food. After they were done with the food Veera took the dishes and went to the kitchen. Balwant went inside his room for a little rest, and Baldev took advantage and went inside the kitchen.

Baldev: Tera masla ki hai?

(Baldev: Whats your problem?)

Veera: Ki?

(Veera: What?)

She finally looked at him.

Baldev: Tennu koi fikar nahi aes ghar di ki?

(Baldev: You dont care about this house right?)

Veera: Mennu pata hai mujhe kitni fikar hai kitni nahi... ae tu na mennu dass acha

(Veera: I know how much i care and not... you dont tell me)

She sounded angry.

Baldev: Tennu or fikar? Agar enni fikar hondi na, tu kal raat nu batake jati

(Baldev: You and care? If you really cared, you would have told that u were going yesterday)

Veera: Maine papaji nu bata ditta si,

(Veera: I had told dad about it)

She continued washing the dishes. Baldev was speechless, Veeras words were like arrows, and he was hurt knowing that she didn't think of him as "her family". But why should he care, and why was he still standing in the kitchen? He left her alone in the kitchen. Veera became sad, actually whenever she saw or heard Baldev, she got reminded of her broken heart. That's why she was doing her best to ignore him and try to be away from him as much as possible. As she was coming out from the kitchen she saw Baldev go out, she waited for a few seconds, and then went up to her room and took a nap.

PART13:

Veera woke up in the middle of the night; she didn't realize when she fell so deeply asleep. She looked at her left and saw Baldev sleep next to her. She became so happy for a moment, but she soon remembered the truth, she sighed as she took her blanket and moved away to the sofa and fell asleep there.

...

The next morning, Baldev woke up and saw Veera sleeping on the sofa. He became a bit frustrated, why did she even bother switching place, was he that bad? Did she hate him that much? He felt sad, and his mood was quickly ruined. He went to the bathroom to take a shower when he heard Bansuri wake Veera up. When he came out he saw that Veera had gone downstairs. He went down and joined everyone for the breakfast, same thing happened, that was happening since day one, Veera ignoring him. He had gotten used to it, so it didn't hit him that hard, it still hurt him, but he was probably used to it now. He looked at Veera, she seemed tired, and her eyes were red.

Balwant: Veera puttar, teri tabiyat to thik hai na?

(Balwant: Veera dear, are you alright?)

Veera: Ha papaji, bas thora bukhar hai

(Veera: Yes dad, i just have a little fever)

Balwant: Oho puttar, tu jake araam kar na, Bansuri ji, aap isse aaj koi kaam na karwaye ga

(Balwant: Oho dear, you go and take rest, and Bansuri, dont make her do any work)

Bansuri just nodded without paying so much attention to what Balwant said, she was busy looking at the newspaper. Veera smiled and went up to her room. Balwant and Baldev went out aswell.

...

After a few hours, Baldev realized that he had forgotten his phone at home, so he decided to go and fetch it. When he entered his room, he didn't see Veera anywhere. He knew that she wasn't feeling too well. He went downstairs to look for her, that's when he heard some noise in the kitchen. He quickly went inside and saw Veera becoming unconscious, she was having a hard time to stand still, her eyes were shutting. Baldev quickly ran to her and held her in his arms as he took her up to their room. He laid her down on the bed, and sprinkled some water on her. But she wasn't regaining conscious. He became worried and called the doctor. The doctor came and examined Veera, he told Baldev that she had high fever and should rest for a few days. Baldev nodded and went out from the room with the doctor. While seeing the doctor off he turned around and saw his mom coming out from her room. He was furious.

Baldev: Beeji, aapko ho ki gaya hai?

(Baldev: Mom, what has happened to you?)

He was shouting

Bansuri: Baldev!!! Chilla kyu raha hai, hoya ki hai?

(Bansuri: Baldev!! Why are you shouting? What happened?)

Baldev: Papaji ne kaha si na aaj subha, ke Veera di tabiyat kharab hai use kaam na karwana, phir bi aapne use kaam pe laga ditta, aab dekho ki hoya hai

(Baldev: Dad told you in the morning didnt he, that Veera was feeling ill and you shouldnt make her do any work today, but still you made her work... now look what happened)

Bansuri: Haye bas thora sa hi to kaam diya si main

(Bansuri: Oh i just gave her something minor)

Baldev: Beeji bass bi karo tussi, kissi ka enna bhi nahi faida uthana chahiye, Veera di tabiyat ek to kharab hai, upar se aap usse itna kaam karwa rahi si,

(Baldev: Mom, stop it. You shouldnt take to much benefit of someone, Veera is feeling sick, and on top of that you made her work so much)

Bansuri: Baldev ki bole jaraya hai, koi thora kaam karne se mar nahi jata

(Bansuri: Baldev what are you saying, no one dies of a little work)

Baldev: Lekin behosh to ho janda ha ina

(Baldev: But one can become unconscios)

Bansuri: Ki, Veera behosh ho gayi?

(Bansuri: What? Did Veera become unconsious)

Baldev: Ha beeji, doctor sahab ne mana kitta hai Veera nu kam karne se 2-3 din

(Baldev: Yes mom, and the doctor have said that Veera cant do any work for 2-3 days)

Bansuri: Hayoo rabba, ab mennu pura ghar phir se sambhalna parega 2-3 din

(Bansuri: Ohh god, now do i have to do all the work for 2-3 days?)

Baldev: Beeji tussi enne swarti kaise ho sakte ho? Aap se to koi umeed bhi nahi karni chahiye

(Baldev: Mom, how can you be so selfish? One shouldnt expect anything from u)

He stormed away with alot of anger. He went directly to their room and saw Veera conscious again. He became relieved.

Baldev: Tu... thik hai na?

(Baldev: Are you... alright?)

Veera: Ha, lekin main to kitchen me thi

(Veera: Yes, but i was in the kitchen)

Baldev: Behosh ho gayi thi tu, doctor aya si... Ab do teen din aram karne ko kaha hai

(Baldev: You became unconsious, the doctor had come... you have to take some rest for a few days)

Veera kept looking at him, she saw worry in his eyes, he realized that he sounded way to concerned, so he quickly took his phone and went away.
