CHAPTER-2.

Veera waited for the pain to engulf her with her eyes closed..But seconds passed and it did not happen..

She carefully peeped through one eye to see what he was doing..

He was busy cleaning something with his other hand,while with his right hand he still held the knife.

What is he doing?!Maybe he is being careful with hygiene before killing me?!Or is he warming up his hand so that he can dig in the knife better..?!Or oh God!!!Is he taking out another knife out too!OMG mayn-be he is going to make minced meat out of me with two knifes?!!

She worried biting her lips,and looking at his hidden hand..She was so engrossed in her thoughts that when he did turn she nearly jumped off her skin..

But her jaws dropped open when she saw him holding a perfect red apple infront of her nose..

"Bhookh lagi hogi na tainu?Ye khaa le!

[You must be hungry right?Have it!]"He said in a curt voice..

But Veera was still startled and confused at what he had just done..

She looked at the apple and then at him,and then at the knife,and then at the apple,and then back at him and gulped down a knot of tension..

Why was the red apple reminding her of Snow white and the seven dwarves..?

Why was she thinking the apple might be poisoned..?

"TU KHAYEGI ?!Ya main-..

[WILL YOU EAT?!Or I'll-..]"His sudden shout made her jump again.

Nervously she took the apple,and when he extended the knife towards her,she quickly shook her head,letting him know she did not need it..

The sharp thing was actually making her more nervous..

Baldev was not moving until she started waiting,so she nervously took a small bit off the apple,waiting for dizziness to take over her if it was really poisoned..

Strangely her brand new mother-in-law's face flashed in her vision,as she thought about the evil step mother in Snow White..

"Khaa le puttar!Achche se khaale..

[Eat dear!Eat properly..]"Bansuri's image crooned smilingly,even the smile sending a creepy sensation through her nerves..

"KHAALE!!!TAAKI ISS KI BAAD TAINU KABHI KUCH KHILANA NA PADHE!!!

[EAT!!!SO THAT AFTER THIS YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE FED ANYTHING AT ALL!!!]"She screamed out the last part with a snarl on her face,her livid face turning all green like a witch,her large eyes almost bulging out..Although it was her wild imagination Veera jumped up startled,and would have fallen off the bed if Baldev had not prevented her from falling..

Gasping she held onto his arm,and felt a strange sizzle pass through her body..

WHAT WAS THAT?!!She thought in confusion as she stared up into his face,and saw him looking confused too..

She wanted to touch him again and check if she had just imagined that feeling when she was shoved away from him forcefully.

Veera lay on the bed heavily breathing,and now angry at his continuous misbehaviour.

"TU BADTAMEEZ TO THA HI PEHLE SE!!!ISSI LIYE HI MAIN TAINU SHAADI NAI KARNA CHAHTI THI!

[YOU WERE ALWAYS A SCOUNDREL!!!THAT'S WHY I DID NOT WANT TO MARRY YOU!]"She snapped out angrily,throwing the apple away at a far corner of the room,as she straightened herself.

Suddenly he bent down and loomed almost on top of her,making her lean back to stay away from him..

"TAMEEZ DIKHNA HAI TAINU..?AA TUJHE MAIN TAMEEZ DIKHATI HUN!

[YOU WANT TO SEE MANNERS..?COME ON LET ME SHOW YOU MANNERS!]"He gritted out angrily,pulling her across the bed,and onto his lap as he settled on the bed..

"BALDEVA!!! CHADHDH MAINU!KI KAR RAHA HAI!!CHADHDH!!

[BALDEVA!!!LET ME GO!WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!LET GO!!]"She screamed and tried to squirm herself free,but in vain.

"KIU?!!Tu to mera biwi hai na?!Tujhe chune ka to haq hai mera..!Aur aaj to humara Suhaag Raat bhi hai!Chaal TAMEEZ se manate hai Suhaag Raat!!!

[WHY?!!You are my wife aren't you?!It's my right to touch you..!And it's also our wedding night tonight!Come on let's celebrate our wedding night with good manners!!!]"He whispered huskily as he pulled her head up,into close contact with his..His lips almost touching hers but not quite..

He gently ran a hand along her soft cheek,and a shudder passed through Veera's body at the touch..And suddenly all the fight seemed to leave her body.

His hand round her waist tightened as he pulled her close against his body,and his dark eyes looking into her wide ones captivated her all the more..

She should be disgusted of his touch shouldn't she?Then why was it that suddenly she was liking it..?!

As she stared into his face,she noticed a change in his expression too..As if he was feeling the change too..

And this time he ran his fingers slowly along her cheek,and shudder passed through her body..

And like a kid who was curious to know more..His fingers caressed each of her features slowly,and Veera let him..Her body was warming up fast,and her hand on the front of his sherwani held onto him tighter,as the warmth spread across her nerves,blood stream and every fibre of her body.

Mesmerized by his eyes for the first time,she was getting lost in those dark pools..Forgotten was the hate and disgust she felt for him..Forgotten was the causes and reasons she had gathered to walk out on him on the day of their family arranged marriage,forgotten was everything..

She had not been touched like this by any guy before..And never wanted to..But this time strangely she wanted to be touched more..

His fingers suddenly brushed against her soft lips,and Veera gasped out at the touch,as a thrill of pleasure shot through her body at the touch..

Baldev seemed to notice it..And inhaling a short sharp breath,he brushed his thumb against her soft bottom lip again..

Veera gasped out once more,and closed her eyes as a strange liquid heat trickled through her nerves at his touch,and her lips seemed to be set on fire..

His thumb went on moving along her soft bottom lip continuously.The friction created by his rough thumb against her soft lip was setting her entire being on fire..

She opened her eyes,and looked into his face,and noticed it had now darkened with an all new expression..His eyes looking at her lips,his face now a ravaged mask of need and hunger,that strangely thrilled her to the core rather than scaring her..

His eyes when they met hers again held such a fire that Veera knew she was seared by it completely..His hand tightened round her waist,and his head lowered towards hers..And Veera sighed out ,waiting for him to end this fire and claim her lips with his..

Baldev took the knife 4 another purpose.Ha ha.Now Veera is losing herself in his passion
