I stopped watching this show because of Ratan. I was sad fro her when her husband betrayed her BUT in the time line of the show, this sob story is old now. I just hate how Ratan treats Veera. If she was going to continue to blame Veera for all the problems in her and Ranvi's life, then she should have let Veera go with her Nana and Nani...
It broke my heart when she had a fit when Veera was showing and giving her the dupatta and earrings. I thought that things would have changed but thie have not..Ratan is blinded by her hatred and Veera does not even know why. I am sad that Ratan ruined her childhood and acts as if Veera is a burden. It was up to Ranvi when he mortgaged the property to Surjeet and it was NOT Veera's fault...I really hate Ratan for her behaviour...I am sick of her crying in front of her husband's picture and cursing Veera for all of the hardships Ranvi and her have to face because of Veera...
I really can't understand how blind Ratan is being. She never loved Veera and I get it, it would be hard but not impossible!!! Holy geez! If an animal lives with a human for a short period of time a bond is formed and why not here? Afterall, Veera is a human being too! I think that Ratan does not have a heart when it comes to Veera.
Ratan is the typical step-mom that we have seen in cinema for decades. After the leap, I watched one episode and when I saw Ratan, all I could think was that she was a vamp..or in this case the negative and mean step-mom. I ams so disappointed in the development of Ratan's character, pre and post the leap :( I thought with time, Ratan would grow up bu she clearly has not...
I can't stand Baldev's mom and her games but atleast to the face she is sweet to Gunjan now...that is a change from the older days...Even Bansuri got a litte sense, even as minute as it is and Ratan...The same old drama...my husband cheated me anf left me to raise Veera (his illegimate child) and then he died leaving me this burden...I am a victim...wooo is me...
Ratan had a chance to send her to her grandparents but she wad selfish and kept Veera there for her son and that is it. Ratan's excuses for not accepting Veera are selfish and self-centered...I agree with what Chaiji hasd said along time ago that she is the best mother in the world when it comes to Ranvi but not when it comes to Veera...
Ratan needs to change! I am not impressed with her at all!
