Hopefully these tests will show us more love and one day show everyone that SHE is HER daughter .. !

Errr sorry but Veera can never be Ratan's daughter. She is Amrita's daughter and always will be. Ratan can only be an adoptive mother but that role goes to Ranvi.
Out of humanity, Ratan will get the teacher into trouble. Because it's wrong to punish any child like how Veera was punished, despite who her/his parents are. Ratan is a woman of justice so unlike Bansuri, she will help Veera.
I bet sometimes Ratan wishes that Veera was her child though, it would have been so nice if Veera was from Ratan, not Amrita.

not sure if you watch savdhaan india (sorry for bringing up diff show here) but they had the same type of episode yesterday...

a teacher was so evil that she threw a chalk at the student which hurt her eye so bad that turned her blind. an 11 yr old girl went to numerous operations but in the end she lost her eyesight but not the will to live the life.
teacher was punished obviously... but it was just so sad.

I was baffled with the teacher's memory again! Veera is so obviously out of her thoughts! Obviously the darling woman, didn't knew the security threats the kid would face there, how utterly thoughtful! When veera picked up the acid bottle, it almost choked me! How could she shut Veera in a store room where that acid bottle was so much in reach and the electric fittings didn't look healthy either!

When a teacher, tosses responsibility and turns to cruelty to discipline kids, its the kids who suffer... the teacher will well be sacked or say sorry or get away but what about the kid? In situations of this sort, kid's entire life is jeopardized.

I don't think any teacher would do whataver that teacher has done to Veera and it's a bad example given by the teacher and I hope it hasn't happened to anyone in real life.

Harsh - I think the correct term is child abuse! These sorts of things must happen in reality, otherwise why show it in the drama! I live in the UK and if this ever happened here, the teacher would end up in prison! Locking up such a young child... what on earth was the teacher thinking!

On another note, Veera's acting has been brilliant throughout as well as all the children in this wonderful drama :)

There are harsh punishment than this carried out in villages. Problem is teacher forgot in hurry that she has punished her, which could have been avoided if she got her out in time after class. No teacher should just avoid a student because he or she is "troublemaker". Not acceptable at all. Also the fact that this girl who does not know how to write her alphebets wrote someone name was completely overlooked. Again goes against the nature of a teacher. Though I must say there are too many like them these days.

Ya chal ya bagh was epic... I was rofl for a long time till she went on protecting VeerJi mode. That was awww

I agree, child abuse is what it is...I made the topic on Monday and hadnt realized how bad things were going to turn...I live in the UK as well and if such a thing happened it would be dealt with strictly and I'm hoping the teacher in Veera gets punished on a similar level...so say the spoilers...

dude you are talking about this - kids have died due to beating by teacher, or a group of teachers in some cases. Recently there was a story about a kid dying coz 2 teachers beat him up after thinking he broke the school bucket (ironically he hadn't even done it).

my friends brother is permanently crippled due to such beating, a nerve of his got permanently stuck. a law suit is going on now.

two weeks ago there was a report of a boy loosing one eye coz principle got angry at him due to delayed tuition fee.

things like this are happening and in much worse form. Veera episode was good for social awareness generation.
