Holaa people...

So Veerakdi lied, was caught and punished. To be honest, agreed Ratan appeared a little stern, but sure enough the punishment i think was much needed.

Ratan may deny but she knows Veera like any other mother knowing her kid. The moment she saw Veera before time, she asked if she went to Gunjan's. And Veera, founding herself in spot denied point blank

This was not the first time, even during the piggy bank scene, Ratan had rightly guessed that Veera had gone out collecting money from the people around and even then Veera lied and said Ranvi gave it to her From that instant itself, her lie had bothered me and though it was sad to see our cutie Veera being scolded, i think it was the need of the day.

true!
totally agree with you Sonia...
Ratan scolding Veera was much needed and I'm glad Ranvi made sense of the punishment...Ratan cares for Veera just like she would for her own child and also takes responsibilty of her actions which is great...

Yup Hina... For Ratan its always like my children! And Ranvi's love for his sister is unconditional but not blind. I love the way he teaches her to do what is right.

But Veera lied because she became scared when Ratan questioned her and Ranvi didn't forbid her from going to Gunjan's house. He just told her that they would go after the school.Veera went may be because she was not aware of the rules of the school. She may not have known that skipping school was something wrong. Also she was frightened on hearing that Gunjan had 'mata' with her 😲.She felt that 'mata' might beat her up if she didn't return the lipstick.I felt that it was the exact reason why she went to meet Gunjan.I didn't felt it as a big mistake. But regarding the piggy bank scene i too felt that she did a mistake by lying. But if someone told her lovingly that telling lies is wrong and not suitable for good children she wouldn't have repeated it.I felt that rather than punishing her making her aware of her mistake will do,like the way ranvi made her understand that stealing is a crime by telling a story 😊

When a child lies, he knows well that if caught s/he is in trouble. I don't say her going to Gunjan's house was a mistake, but her point blank lie was. Not stopping is encouraging... and Ratan will not have spared even Ranvi there. Kids tend to develop a compulsive lying habit if they are let loose time and again. So i guess some discipline had to be brought in.

I agree Sonia, I think it's best to stop this type of behavior before it gets out of hand. Ratan knows once Ranvi realizes the seriousness of the situation he in his own loving way will make Veera understand.

Someone has to maintain the authority. I love Veera and saying she is too young to understand is not enough she also needs to understand not to do it again.
