Fate to bring together Arjun Bijlani, Drashti Dhami

Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani starrer Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil has already raised a lot of expectations among fans and this new promo is just an icing on the cake.

We believe that television in finally shedding off the typical daily soap operas image that it had for years, and with this one, something different is going to come our way.

In this new promo of the show, we see Drashti walking on the platform of a train station where she sees a check box on one of the billboards. The actress, who looks as gorgeous as ever places her bindi in the centre box. Call it fate or something that the makers wanted to do, Arjun Bijlani's eye falls on to that check box and he marks "x" in one of the boxes. It goes on happening until one day, both of them are shocked to see it getting removed from the advertisement board.

After the first promo, which portrayed Drashti as a doting daughter, we were somehow missing Naagin fame actor Arjun Bijlani. And the wait is finally over now with the mesmerising treat to the eyes.

You were also in the news for fainting on Karva Chauth and even spotting a ghost. What was that about?

The recent stories that came out about me falling sick on Karva Chauth weren't true. I was absolutely fine on the sets " giggling and laughing all day. Then I did FaceTime with my husband and broke my fast. My family gets bothered about fake stories and they had called me to ask about my health. The other story was about how, recently, I had a spooky experience and felt a spirit in my hotel lobby. Nothing of that sort happened. These are the drawbacks of being an actor when false stories are published.
