They should talk to him before doing any trend or before taking some other decisions, It's Sid's fc n these are just admins, their behaviour may effect Sid, and Lady N, no comments abt that lady, if she had brain she wouldn't sit n bash people, instead would concentrate on the script to get trps

My point too...they unnecessarily got Sid into a situation and allowed Lady N to publicly drag him into the picture..I ended up giving it back to her and shutting her up...

FCs should not get involved in these efforts as a rule...it will reflect on the actors and unnecessarily spoil their equations with the channel, PH and even co-stars.

It is about how bigamy is unacceptable on this show.

Obviously nobody is a fool here. Nobody protested against Akbar's harem or Dasarath having three or more wives. That was the norm of that period and it was part of history.

In this show, Rana Indravadhan Singh has already declared that he does not believe in bigamy or polygamy. He was not even willing to accept living under the same roof as fake Sulakshana, who he thought was his first wife returned from the dead. He wanted to remain a husband to Gayatri and Gayatri alone.

To justify bigamy on this show on the grounds of period is a big joke under the circumstances.

It does not matter whether it was legal or not!

What matters is that this is the love story of Rana Indravdhan SIngh and Gayatri Devi and that is how it should remain. Bringing co-wives dilutes the very core of this story and hence is not acceptable.

Bertie, you mark my words, it will not end here. The Lady N will show a hot SR btw vamp and RNJ, i have a feeling it will get even more dirty with more skinshow, vulgarity n seduction..

exactly !! we r not concerned with whether it is illegal or not ,we pretty much know that it was legal that time.but the thing is we didnt sign up for this!!! we wanted a nice love story b/w a commoner nd a king. after seeing it now no one can say its a love story that too royal!!! here only they r showing that how a vamp wins nd her plotting... the leads dont even get much screen space.
nd guys i appreciate ur efforts 👏 let them feel the heat!!

Guys wait and watch.
People didn't sign up for watching polygamy here.

Nilu forgot gayathris and ranas stand in this and brought in the wedding. Let's see how TRP goes next 2 or 3 weeks. If there's decline she has to end this track.

If not then let's resign ourselves to the fact that we did what we could but some things are out of our hands anyway.

Show is down the drain whatever it is. All these talks of regressive traditions , SR etc sound horrible and uninteresting really. I don't want to watch ETR at all.

Berts, posting part of my response to Raj

The period of this show is not a reason for bigamy,it's just an excuse to propagate channel's
medieval values.

I'm surprised people can even swallow this track w.o realizing how it had derailed the main story and destroyed all the characters, including their own favourites, whoever they are.

I don't care whether polygamy was the norm back then or whether both men and women were having many partners and lived happily/ unhappily in a commune.

This show was sold to me as " Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani" and any TDH shoved at me as Raja or Rani & getting paired with the original Raja and Rani are unacceptable.

Bang on Sim..!

I am sorry but any attempt being made to justify bigamy on this show on the grounds of time period is both weak and futile...

The argument here is not about the legality..it is about how it conforms with the show's theme and how it was sold to us..!

This is a case of deceptive advertisting at its worst!

True. There's a morality that they have to stick to.
Just watching whatever is shown because you like the actor is unacceptable. I don't really understand this. Anyway am not watching as these things disgust me.

Always someone between a husband and wife. Will we accept it in real life? Reel life is imaginary but the creative liberties too should stick to morals.

Rightly said Berts.. the point is not Bigamy was allowed.. n chalata tha types in 1940's era.. But the point is that.. we don't want to see any TDH for any of the leads.. can't peeps understand this simple thing that they come with all laws n all? from any fan grp.. I just don't care abt specific fan grp.. If U have right to think chalta hain as of now.. then we have right to think... not so chalega.. we will protest.. 😈
