Whether he downed a few pegs or not,Sid was awesome. I also liked the initial scene where he is contemplating whether to play or not. The Yes- No part where he does not believe in gambling, yet wants to play this King's game and test his Bhagya. So far its in his favor, why would it desert him.

Avdesh looked like the devil, the evil glint in his eyes while drawing Rana deeper and deeper into the quagmire, the persistent accosting at the same time trying to read and influence Rana, the measured, intentional wordplay.👏He was Shrewd with the Capital 'S'.He remained in control of the game, his worried frown when G walked after Rana if she may be able to stop him and then his dialogues with her. He nailed it.

If Avdesh played the hunter well, Rana played the hunted excellent, a lamb ready for the slaughter So overall a well executed epidose, with crisp dialogues. Hats off to the writers, esp ST , he does have the flair and flamboyance in his story telling and the director too.👏

DD awesome as always, rendering the right expressions at all times.

With you on all others...but Abhiram is getting predictable is what I feel...no surprises there...but yes, he was good at whatever he did...! I thought Kunwar played an able ally...!

Avdesh had the best lines today...but I guess it was to be expected...since he was the manipulator, his lines had to be stronger than those of the others...
Both RNJ and G got a couple of good lines but the best went to Avdesh,...in fact since his track began, he has been getting the what we call 'seeti marofying' lines..!

That is what makes a formidable villain, and the victory of the leads tangible, especially Rana's win over him. Else it would be insipid and boring. I guess the same reason why a Gabbar or a Shakaal will always be remembered.
Of course , Avdesh in not in that league, but pretty much up there for TV.
But i must state, the only reason i have calmed down to him is I know the thrashing he's gonna get at Rana's hands. The next plot will be exciting cos we have an all knowing Rana and the leads in equation.

Oh no, neither Avdesh nor Abhiram are in the Gabbar/Amjad Khan league...the thing is I like quietly menacing villains...obvious histrionics don't appeal to me...if it has to be a pyscho, then it had better be a Joker...
That is my biggest problem with Avdesh..he is a very obvious villain...I like the subtle kinds...!

P.S - I am eternally grateful to the creatives for giving RNJ prominence in this track...even if he was not in the right, it was about him...he hardly had anything to do in the BRM track...that is how it should be ..one or the other should take the initiative...and if it is a joint initiative, then sone pe suhaaga..!

Avdesh asks G what is the farak betwen hin and Rana during the clandestine meet, and then next scene he tells Rana that he knows the difference now and apologises, and even wants to die.I think he has hit the bottom of the pit, will he come back with a change of tactics or does he go into depression, unfulfilled obsessive love.
Either he comes back more wicked or becomes so apathetic that his sister gets into action. Either way he is here to stay. And the saazish gets more murkier.
