Whom to blame!!

We will rant and rave. They won't listen.

Sometimes I wish Drashti hadn't done a big budget show but then again Mb was also a big budget show it however did exceedingly well.I had known this production house to not really endorse love stories well but I was an optimist.I was happy till the manmarzia episode with the dori but the butchering of the the core plotline and zee exercising a lack of patience has brought us here.CVs don't listen.St though a clumsy writer at times has given us mb which stuck to the initial plotline regardless of low trps and later on went on to be in the top 5.If only the makers of etr2 had exemplified such patience.Alas all they do now is follow the trend of introducing new villains,dumbing down the ML and showcasing a consistently misbelieved heroin who has do all the work.No love story.No desired friction.Flat emotion between the leads other than the occasional smiling and hugging.Dds other shows were emotionally more explorative and focused on the leads .
But there's really no point of saying anything because the writers appear ignorant.

all the characters are tweaked from what they started off.

IMO, only Laksh's character has gained ,thanks to the actor's ability to shine even in the few seconds they give him.
RGD is bahufied & RNJ and RM are dumbed down most to enable twists.

What have they done to Swarna?

I think, only chacha- chachi are left untouched.

IMO, to maintain everyone's intelligence & characteristics ,they've to work hard for twists and drama.

After witnessing worst kind of butchering in my previous show, I think, RNJ is not impacted that much of bahufication here. He still gets to do something in the end and holds the power to effect changes as the King & hero. Credit goes to SK for holding on to the aura of power that his character has.

What we enjoyed initially is gone man. That way of story telling is tossed for drama.
Whom to blame? Let's blame it on the makers. I think they changed quickly, the would've climbed the charts steadily even otherwise, IMAO.

Naj...I think you have expressed the point of view of a viewer interested in watching the show for the story line and the characterization rather than for the actors...I sincerely hope the writers take note of this..!

Well this is the route they have decided to take, the actors are happy, Sid said do write to us , then quickly changed that to dont write to us,and he mentioned that this is cinematic liberty, who keeps a gun around to be misused in real life. So in fiction they like to create drama and exaggerated emotions and expressions and they want to sustain the viewers interest for long with conflicts, when all is hunky dory it gets boring after a while.

In tuesday Rajmata's character was good, seemed like she was getting back to her old self, Gayatri also instead of being preachy she was just the selfless lover who couldn't see beyond her husband's safety she was hell scared for him and Ranaji was the strong, determined Raja who knew what he was doing and didn't budge just because they asked him to, I would have liked one single dialogue to be added to his dialogues in that scene with Gayatri, is that he is well aware that the enemy might cheat but that doesn't mean he would back off, he fought nazis in the world war, it's not like they were using fair play!!! and Kunwars were good, I liked Kunwar chacha he was really good, not the dumb villain, he said for the first time he doesn't know whom to cheer for! and he said he will look for his faida from this fight!


@Bold I was tempted to post even when I was planning to stay away 😆, as I was saddened by the bashing Ranaji was getting I mean before the fight and even during it I was charmed by Ranaji, what charisma, what calm, when Avdesh was all talks, Ranaji's attitude and expressions were spot on, no ego just moderated self-confidence exactly the way I would expect a good warrior king to behave not with words but with actions, he had the upper hand on the fight, from the very beginning Avdesh was getting beaten but he resorted to cheating to turn the tables and I believe with the kind of reflex and presence of mind Ranaji has he could have evaded that spear Avdesh pointed at him by rolling on the floor at the right moment, but Cvs decided to make Gayatri interfere, and all credits for winning went to her interfering, so what Ranaji did from the beginning of the epiosde was nulified for others not for me! obviously I would respect honorable men even when they lose and I would despise cheaters even when they win!

I totally get your frustration, there is no story left, its totally stupid the way they are changing tracks story as when basis. I really loved Rana and Gayu before, now they have totally ruined the characters. I hate the way Cv's are making them dumb, even Gayatri, did not like the way she came in between the way she keeps on saving Rana, as if he does not know how to rule the kingdom, when they have such awesome actors, I have no clue why they are making them so weak. Cvs are totally ruining the story. Even Raajmata, she was such a strong character, she has no role to play now, they could do so much with her character, I am totally disappointed with the way this story is going? and with this new idiotic character entry who knows what's in store, same old ghisa pita tracks. These people have no creativity left.. They could show so many interesting tracks. Gayu learning english, learning queen ways from RM or so many other,have no clue why they need these same old negative tracks.. Not sure how long they can sustain this way. It started of beautifully but now they are completely ruining the show..

I like the actors, they are doing a good job but characteization is very important for me to connect to the characters and to the story!

A man like Ranaji has it in him to be a good king and an ideal lover but Cvs don't give the character enough chances to shine! yes he fights, he gives closure to tracks, he is classy, but not enough situations were given to him to display his skills as a king or his qualities as a lover

Gyatri for me was never a problem apart from typical bahu dialogues or actions from time to time, she has kept the same essence, she is strong, straightforward, impulsive and an unconditional lover so there are no complaints from my side, actually I would have overlooked all the other things had they not been showing the hero in a bad light!
