He doesn't want gayatri to leave, he doesn't want his fake first wife to leave either, what the hell he want then? I guess he want to live with both the wife's together

he was happy being with sulakshna even with her behaviour?

His intentions are not so in my opinion he is trapped and but not strong enough to break and make that is all. His niceness is his weakness and nor does it have it in him to be one of those kings that can keep two wife's and rule. He's in a mess basically ..

I agree dear.
Ranaji is so indecisive .How is he a king I wonder.
He claimed to have loved gayatri before albeit not as much as Sula as he had mentioned formerly but I guess this fake Sula is really allowing on him to reflect on Gayatri place in his life and who he is actually drawn towards more presently Fake Sula or real gayatri.
At least he refuted sternly to the insults flung towards Gayatri but yeah he does seem like the eat the cake and keep it at the same time types as he wants both a queen and a wife separately in their own place.I have to say Gayatri is on e tough nut .No crying ,no wailing just demanding that Ranaji should take a decision and nednit all.Impressed with Gayatris characterization .

Exactly, he wants to be hero in front of both. But in life, you have to take tough decision and if you are a King, your job is harder. Because you have to set an example for your subject regarding your integrity and fairness. Not taking decision because it is hard is not practical nor fair to anyone.

But that is another problem with this s/l. They try to make it seem Ranaji is trying to keep the peace. He ends u looking like a player and a weakling instead.

But where would the drama be if he did not stay passive and indecisive till a certain moment right?

Well no! Because there are many other ways of solving this problem, like at least giving Ranaji many thoughts of doubt, and that even he is playing a game trying to figure out Sula. But nope.. That would at least have kept Ranaji in character.

Its cheap writing, but i still love it 😆

My point is that you can't be nice and selfish at the same time. If he is nice, then he should not have been spouting nonsense to Gayetri that Sula is the Queen and she is the wife knowing very well that you can't separate queen post from wife post. Gayetri is a straight shooter. She always said that she won't share her husband. He said it to stop her from leaving even though every single time he was with Sula, he watched tears in her eyes and her suffering.

I don't know I guess its going to take a lot to push him off this politically correct approach he is trying to take but when he falls of that's when we will know what his intentions are I feel. One thing i do have to say is a man who is so confused by his personal life this way can be in no mind frame to run a kingdom and so god help Amerkot.

Just based on the pre-cap it does seem like Ranaji was working very hard to keep his anger and emotions in check. Which is why BRM can fool him so easily. But why? Is it because he doesn't like drama, or is he embarrassed to admit to not having a well trained instinct, and to just express it?
Ranaji is naive to think that just because having the title of King makes him one.
And in some cases there is no middle ground. He should just learn more from RM.

Still without Gayatri and RM who both are passionate about what they want and stand for, Ranaji would be emotionally dead by now. It's not a nice sight seeing a guy clearly not feeling fine with what is going on, yet doesn't do anything. Does Gayatri have to die before that happens?
Why does it suddenly feel like he could have saved the real Sula also?

All valid points all of them but the ball is in the writers court he or she needs to step up and give Rana the character he really deserves I think ranas character has been butchered It did have and does have lots of potential they're just using it in the wrong way. Giving limelight to the female lead Is how these shows make trps but it's a shame because giving Rana character would have made it that much more of a success..

Why do you think BRM hasn't been caught yet? She has been conspiring against the throne all his life (possibly killed his father as well) yet never even was suspected? How is that possible unless Rana is oblivious?

I mean even as per the new promo, when Gayetri reveals that BRM was doing the conspiracy, she gets slapped. A loving husband or a fair King would ask, "Gayetri, you must be mistaken. Do you have any proof?" Only an insensitive jerk would raise hand on his wife. The same wife who suffered indignity and insult for him.

If Gayetri doesn't dump his royal a$$ after the slap, I will loose all respect for the show.

P.S. I am not going to watch the dance tomorrow. Not because Dhrashti is not a good dancer, of course she is. But because there's a limit to how much humiliation I can watch without cringing. If Gayetri truly decide to dance to force Rana's decision, at some point of time you will have to wonder that if someone has to be forced to take a stand, if it's worth your dignity.

Because while being a maid to the queen was in private, making yourself an object of pity in public for a man to choose you is not worth any relationship.
