@Berts- Your angle of intrigue makes sense, this trap is for the Kingdom and not for the King.

With BRM's crowing as the main vamp & her confession abt killing Sulu etc, they need to wind this up and get moving.

BTW- u were pretty spot on abt the veiled woman being either Sulu or her killer.👍🏼

Sim the track has irritated me more than answer any questions.

The only reason I can think of the Sula track is to oust RNJ. BRM knows well that if she pitied one wife against another then she can distract RNJ. Once he is distracted, he will be forced to give the queen status back to Sula as she is his first wife. He is the one who is sandwiched between two women. He has no idea how to deal with Sula other than show concern as his heart is now ruled by Gayatri.

But still traces of bigamy track irritates me as you know 😆

This fake one doesn't help to solve the dilemma of what RNJ would have done and whom he would have chosen if she was real and back..

As Bertie pointed out, its does add in BRMs plan to ensure RNJ is the last of his lineage but the whole thing would have been much more bearable and impactful if there better presentation and this bit came say a month later once RNj-Gayatri story was allowed to progress at a slower pace post dargah than it did

I would've loved just a week's progression on RaGa before they threw the Jhumkhi at me on KC.

@trps: I am sensing a fall..drama aside, the flow has been missing..

Next week all shows will have a fall thanks to Diwali

Mercifully the return of real Sulu is only hypothetical now, as they've revealed her killer.
@bold- true, from whatever i've seen.Lack of flow has been a major flaw with this show, since they started fast peddling. May be we should just take it in our stride and enjoy scenes in isolation😆

My view is that the original script has been played around with -for TRPs. Bringing back Sulakshana was already written, but when and in what form (real or imposter) was the question. If the story had to unfold on this manner, they could hav let the romance brew between the couple a little more. The marriage drama could hav been postpond! The entire 'attraction quotient' and 'cheating' as per Rana Deo could hav been portrayed at a different level for the viewers to be glued to the soap. The trust build up could hav happened after the engagement. This would hav elevated the characters and it would hav been realistic. Then Sulakshana's entry prior to the wedding would hav led to more respect between the couple. The same drama could hav been played out w/out a bigamy track. They could hav shown Rana Deo and Gayatri meeting secretly outside the Mahal and Gayatri donning a detective hat. It would hav been so interesting -add a touch of humor too!! 😃

I cannot fathom how Gayatri would be able to respect Rana Deo after the spineless portrayal of his character. It doesn't seem to be worth any more of your time. Am waiting for 'Siya ka Ram', wonder which time slot??

I think they never intended to bring the real Sona. The initial promos were clearly of a grieving widower and his second wife's love story woven around palace intrigues.

I don't think if Sulu had come before the wedding RNJ would have gone thr' the wedding.

Suppose Gaythri's love over weighs respect?Once she learns about the conspiracies, i don't think she'll even blame him.

I'm watching sporadically, Siya ka ram is on my radar too. Not @9.30 0r 7pm anyway. Sita is not dislodging any reigning bahus as far as i know.😆
