Gayatri & Ranaji arrive at Gayatri's maayka. The duo engage in cute banter where she teases him that today whole day he'll be staying here & whether his 'Balsakha' (childhood friend) will also be there. He doesnt understand who is his balsakha so she tells him, his anger is his friend since childhood! He says he left his anger outside before entering the house. The Seth family greets them. Damyanti hugs Gayatri and takes her aside. The veiled woman is seen among the small group of people gathered in the courtyard. Damyanti asks Gayatri if all is well b/w her & Ranaji. She says everything is fine b/w them & Ranaji himself has brought her here & she is very happy. Damyanti gets glad hearing this & thanks God. The veiled woman is shown again amidst the crowd.
Shyam gives Dhoti to Ranaji & asks him to get ready. He says he is ready. Shyam says, acco. to their custom, pooja is performed wearing Dhoti. Gayatri comes to Ranaji & asks if he wants to say something. He smiles & says No. Ranaji goes to put on Dhoti & Gayatri's Bhabhis take her alongwith. The veiled woman is shown several times during these scenes & she too leaves with crowd leaving. GovindSeth asks Damyanti to check if Ranaji needs anything. She goes to Ranaji & shows him the room where he can get ready. He thanks her. Damyanti says she needs to thank him as he not only accepted Gayatri but understood her as well. She tells Ranaji that Gayatri had no idea about the deal b/w GovindSeth & Rajmata. Ranaji listens quietly. Damyanti says Gayatri is a Businessman's daughter but doesnt know how to cut a deal. She only knows to forge bonds and God only knows what would have happened, had this relationship broken. She thanks Ranaji with folded hands and tells him that he has not only saved this relationship but Gayatri's life too. Ranaji holds Damyanti's folded hands & tells her that nothing wrong can happen to the daughter whose mother is like her. Gayatri sees this & gets very happy. Damyanti & Ranaji also look at her and smile. Damyanti leaves. Ranaji thinks to himself that truth was in front of his eyes but he wasnt ready to see the truth & listen to Rani Gayatri. He has done big injustice to her and he is sorry for that and it wont happen again. He smiles & goes to get ready. Gayatri wonders what happened to him & goes to check on him.
Gayatri knocks on door. Ranaji opens the door & pulls her inside. She is amused to see how Ranaji has draped Dhoti around him. Ranaji is embarrassed. She asks him if he doesnt know how to wear Dhoti. He nods No. She asks, then how does he wear it during Pooja rituals in Palace. He replies his attendant helps him. They start bantering. She teases him that he is getting angry again. He says he isnt. The banter continues & he tells her that she is making fun of him as if she knows how to put Dhoti on him. He says he'll manage & asks her to leave. She stops him and puts Dhoti on him correctly. "Saawariya" plays in BG. Champakali passes from there & chuckles seeing RaGa. Gayatri gives the sherwani to Ranaji & asks him to wear it. He asks her to help him wear it instead. She puts it on his shoulder & leaves. Ranaji smlies.
The Seth family gathers for dinner. GovindSeth offers to get Ranaji a chair if he isnt comfortable sitting on floor. Ranaji says King may find it uncomfortable to sit on floor but not a Son-in-law. Food is served. Ranaji asks Gayatri if she wont eat. Champakali jokes that Brother-in-law wont even have a morsel w/o Gayatri. GovindSeth says acco to their family tradition, women eat after the men have their meal. Ranaji says, if this is the tradition then it will have to be changed. All are shocked. Gayatri thinks Ranaji will get angry so tells him to not get angry over such small matter. Ranaji gets cue & smiles. He tells GovindSeth that he has inculcated good values in Gayatri & given her good education. Education & values are to progress in life not to lag behind. GovindSeth looks on. Ranaji says he has seen the world & with his experience, he has learnt that the nation where women lag, the nation too lags behind. GovindSeth agrees with him. He accepts that he was wrong & asks all ladies to have meal together with them. He serves food to Damyanti. Ranaji whispers to Gayatri if she felt bad that his balsakha(anger) didn't join him for dinner! The duo smile.

RaGa come inside room. Gayatri feels nervous and starts arranging books. Ranaji comes closer to her & says the Sun has set, the night has descended, everyone has retired to their rooms... She asks, so? Ranaji says, so he won the bet as he didnt get angry in entire day. He asks what would he get as prize. Gayatri says he won coz she reminded him to not get angry. Ranaji says even if she didnt, he had to win & asks for his prize. She asks what he wants. He gets closer to her & pins her to wall. "Kuch Na Kaho Kuch Bhi Na Kaho" plays in BG. She tries to move but he holds her hand & closes in.

Ranaji gets close to Gayatri. His gaze falls on Rani Sulakshana's most fav. bracelet that Gayatri is wearing. He recalls how he had given it to Gayatri in temple. He feels distraught & holds Gayatri's wrist tightly. He leaves the room. Tears roll down Gayatri's cheeks. She thinks whenever he tries to come closer to her, his past & his love for Rani Sulakshana pulls him away from her. She wonders if her husband would ever be hers.
Ranaji prays to Ambe Ma that whenever he wishes to leave his past behind, it comes in front of him. He is drawn towards Rani Gayatri but his past still haunts his present & doesnt let him move on. He doesnt understand what to do. He prays Goddess to guide him on correct path. He closes his eyes & sees a woman who turns out to be Rani Sulakshana. She tells him that she is his true love. Ranaji feels frustrated and prays Ambe Ma to help him as he is surrounded by questions but has no answer to any of them. In the room Gayatri also prays Ambe Ma to help her seek answers to her questions.

Gayatri wakes up from sleep and is worried that Ranaji hasnt come back yet. In the jungle the veiled lady is looking at something thru sieve. A man comes to her & tells her that what she wishes will be done & this will be the last KarvaChauth for Rani GayatriDevi. He leaves. The veiled woman is holding a burning matchstick & looks at something thru sieve.
