My views on last nights episode :
1) Hand holding : It was offered by Rana Deo post their freedom. Gayatri accepted it. I saw it as a protective gesture on the part of Rana Deo, as he accepts that the Queen is his responsibility and she can't get into more trouble. The second time post the comet passing by, it was instinctive. He cannot leave w/out her and it was time to reach the Mahal before more trouble comes. 😃 Basic instinct. 😉 You know, even today if I am crossing the road with my Mom, she will hold out her hand and take mine! She feels responsible that I am ensured of safety. Its a primitive feeling, so I didn't read much into it. Oh yes, Gayatri was flying high...
2) The freedom fighters : I didn't understand the relevance of this insertion. It came to an abrupt end. If it was to make Rana Deo realise that people are dying during the freedom struggle, then the coming episodes need to show a mature King worried about the Satyagraha and Non-cooperation movement and how Rana Deo would engage himself in it!
3) Maya : She was ineffective today. I failed to understand why Gayatri went looking for her - her monologue said something about her closeness to Bansi. Was she looking for tips from Maya on how to make a marriage work? 😲 And ends up in trouble! 😕 Well, in which case, she is more than an "idiot"... 🤣
4) Rajmata : She is finally back. The glances and smiles exchanged between her and Gayatri had different meanings. While Rajmata felt extremely pleased with herself that her plan worked, Gayatri was triumphant that she listened to Rajmata and showed patience. It worked! Rana Deo did see the looks and smiles exchange and is likely to brood about it.
5) Dori on a choli : The scene is likely to be played tonight and I don't want the usual song to be played. Was fed up last night. 😡 I see a very cautious Rana Deo in the frame moving towards Gayatri, not a smitten one or the relaxed persona when they were sharing meals. Has he started suspecting Gayatri again? If he walks away after making an effort to tie the Dori, but "w/out tying it", there is more to come! But, I want this conversation or arguement to be played out differently. I hope the Creatives don't tear them apart, that would be suicidal. 🥱 Maybe, oneliners with sarcasm, to show his frustration and ire. Because, the King is not a fool to keep accusing his Queen and he has already accepted that Gayatri has finally invaded his privacy. So, the Creatives could instead, show a cautious Rana Deo watching his Queen's every move. I think he should give her the benefit of doubt. Wasn't trust there when he spent so much time with her alone? How can that just disappear into thin air? 😃
6) I read some "telescope" comments. You may not be able to see a comet with your naked eye. The scene could hav been played post return to the Palace in the terrace with a "telescope"! 😃
