Why so inhumane ?

okay I'm basically away right now but keeping a tab on the storyline and I watched last nights episode at least parts of it. Gayatri basically did something for him out of kindness and respect the towel giving surely for a normal person the smallest of gesture gets you thinking, makes you appreciate that person friend or foe I think the naming and shaming at the dinner table was very harsh especially when Gayatri has never disrespected Rana in front of anyone.
I feel sorry for Gayatri really do she has ideals in her of being a perfect wife her little gestures and the way she behaves to be that wife any man would be lucky even in the 1930s ..
Surely if she was after his status she would be seducing him rather than serving him with her suniyey jis 😆
I'm not sure if the cvs are being a bit over the top on that front her dialouge goes extreme when she's around Rana at times the towel thing a perfect example .. Or it feels strange because it is if she can say Ranaji in public then why not when they are alone. Why replace Ranaji with just 'ji'

I was thinking that i know it is set Back in the days and I think it would be okay if Rana was actually deserving of the added respect but He's not at the moment.

She goes to 'ji' mode out of love n that is what she did during towel scene.
But after dining table she again got a reality check, so now she is back to Ranaji

Hope she calls him Rana in future😆

I hope she just call him Rana as he don't deserve the respects he is getting from gayatri. He dumb king who can't even think logically

About the Ji- i think, G is used to seeing her Mom& bhabhis address their husbands like that and was probably dreaming about doing that herself. Just those times
She did use Ji, when she went to ask for Sindhoor,first day after her marriage.It's more of how a commoner from those times would address & interact with her husband.Her "unka kamra" etc was found funny by the women,she had to switch to Rnaji's kamra.
