Those articles were misleading i think.
Actually she is not Manglik but considered unlucky as her fiance died in small age.

Even I thought the same. I knew about the fiancee thing only.

Like the characters of Bhabis doesn't deserve a thinking but when two good hearted heriones are hurting each other its difficult to tell who is right and who is wrong. For me both of them are brave to have their own opinions. Its easier to fight enemy but difficult to fight your own family.

Oooh NICELY said! 👏

The articles perhaps confused the two things before the show started. Nowhere in show they used the word Manglik.
And being Manglik is not unlucky. A lot of ppl are manglik. It is related to stars n all

Where as Gayatri is considered unlucky bcoz her fiance died. As in those days society used to put all the blame on girls

I second you..
But @red bold reminds me one of my fav quote

"Relationships dont always make sense. Especially from the outside"

We are outsiders.. we understand what we want to..and see what we want to see.

But it only makes sense to only those two who are in relationship. Mother understand her daughter in and out.. where as we think we understand our mother's but we can never reach their maturity.
There are exceptions in every case though..but here Dammu knows what it is to live in such a society where her darling Gayu image is already dented (cause of Manglik.. )

Dreaming is also not a sin..but at what expenses??

I loved the way you put it.. right choice of words!! 👏

Nice post!! 😊

Amazing post!

I really loved the scene btw Gayatri and Damyanti. It wasn't too dramatic and as you said both were right in their place. Just the usage of word "abhagan" from Damyanti pinched me somewhere. She keeps saying that to Gayatri.

The mother's reaction makes sense from her POV. She has no choice but to react that way since a girl is expected to have one and only destiny in life; ie to marry. And Gayatri already has had issues with it and now stuff like love coming from her mouth would cause more of a hindrance.
