The main theme of this show is about Sharda discovering and assuming a new pehchan(identity), but the fact is that your identity is always changing and hopefully growing as you realize and experience life. To make positive growth that will build an identity that holds a very healthy self-esteem, is actually quite difficult. Every life experience offers an opportunity to make strides in this self-discovery and i think Sharda needs to shed some of the unhealthy aspects of her mind-set. She has become conditioned to accept disrespect and to put up with abuse (verbal, emotional) which is an obstacle for her to move forward. Her new pehchan will be an ongoing, life long project that will require so much effort and balance to be successful. It is not enough to simply be good all the time, or to be a sacrificing, subservient individual. Like everyone of us, Sharda will need to relate to the world and people in it on the basis of principle and not just raw emotion. To display 'goodness' is not always the answer to growing in every way. You need to make efforts to stand up to bullying and to realize that other peoples' actions are beyond your control. Also, other people's wrong actions don't need for you to cover them so that they never face the consequences. Receiving punishment, legally or otherwise, is a good thing as it can end the cycle of crime/deviant behavior. Sharda needs to let Suresh face the legal consequences to his criminal activity, and anyone preventing this from happening, is an accomplice! If she is sheltering him from facing legal action of marrying 2 women, then she isn't really doing him any favors, rather she is unintentionally helping him continue in his nefarious behaviour. You know the saying ' you have to be cruel to be kind' is actually true!
I would love to see Sharda getting stronger and succeeding not only on the material platform, but in a way that inspires us and to have her as a role model for someone that integrated and balanced life in the modern world.
