Pretty much similar minus the sarcasm and at times the teasing. Actually the reason i wrote about this has to actually be because I really liked Anna''s character and also because of ur comments about her. Plus it was just an idea...just an idea that i wrote earlier (in the morning where i live😆😆😆).

Pretty much she lost her husband.

Yet with her, you wouldn't know as she kept most of her personal life under wraps. There were times when she tells Kittu one thing but she says something when she is with Anand that sometimes don't really correlate. So essentially, her character was there but her past wasn't always clear and in detail...well towards Anand and Kittu.

Her care towards Anki has some connection with her past but not solely. She really loves Kittu and does care for her. Aside from meeting Anand she was always close to Kittu.
