Chapter 3- 9
Gauri hearing raghav opening the door, fell down the stairs. She shouts causing everyone to come down. " mother" Sammy says running to her
Raghav coming in the house dejected , asks look at the scene. He frown and walk upstairs , ignoring Sammy call about him not being concern. Raghav stops half way " I know mother more than you think. She's probably taking it to get out of the punishment"
Sammy was about to stand up when Gauri grabs his shirt. " my own son don't even care about me, but one thats not of my blood does. Thank you sammy" she says holding his hand. " your a true son"
Raghav hearing this walk away from the Scene. It brought him memories of the time his mother was actually genuine to him before she became money hungry. Now, in his room. He thought about kalpi, he took his tie of why questioning himself, why he didnt just tell her to be patient with him, and trust him.
He sits down and grab his phone wondering if he should call. On the other side, Kalpi was thinking the same. she kept reaching for her phone and putting it back down. " no, I won't apologize. He do me wrong "
Even though she said that, she felt guilty for getting angry at him. " maybe I did misunderstood the situation. I should call"
She stop her hand from reaching when her conscious says " he was seeing that Sonia chick, he says she's important and won't tell me who she is. Don't apologize, not until his ready to tell you"
She agreed with it. Suddenly her phone rang, and her heart beat, seeing raghav name. She debate whether to answer. When she was ready to pick it up, the call ends. A pop up appears saying she has voicemail.
She quickly taps on it.
Kalpi, your probably still angry with me. I'm sorry and I miss you already. please call me" he says
Kalpi cries hearing him. " I can't...not until...you give me what I want"
Three days past, raghav have been trying to talk to Kalpi, but she would either slam the door on him or hangup the call. He was getting frustrated with her stubbornness. " fine, I give up. I won't come again"
The next day, Kalpi checks her voicemail. Raghav had sent another
Kalpi, how long are you going to stay mad, please talk to me. It feels as if your going far from me. I'm starting to loose my confidence. I love you.
That was yesterday message. She opens the recent one.
Kalpi , I don't know what to do now, fine you win, I won't bother you again. I won't even call anymore. I hope your happy , and I hope your eating well. I love you.
hearing this she became gloomy. She layed on her bed and cried herself to sleep. The next day arrived, the children were watching Kalpi stuffing her mouth with food. Pakiya commented saying if she continue eating like this, she will become a cow.
He got a glare and a slap on the head from Kalpi. Pakiya seeing the teens and children far away, asks what's wrong. One says " kalpana is so scary"
" yeah, she's really angry today"
" someone has to talk to her" vitthal says
They all look at one another, before looking at pakiya. " I won't do it, I just got a slap from her"
One teen says " thats more reason to speak up. Good luck pakiya"
" wait a second, I didnt say...anything"
Soon everyone agree with him. Pakiya wonders how to approach her about raghav. He decided to let her cool off a little before speaking to her.
Soon it was afternoon. Raghav speaking to pakiya decides to visit Kalpi one last time, he hope pakiya can convince her not to shut the door in his face.
On the other side, pakiya watch Kalpi cleaning . he decided now was the chance to bring up raghav. " kalpana" he says, he knew Kalpi anger will go down, if he just say her real name.
" what is it?"
" well. .. You...should...I ...mean " he was nervous like hell " the thing is...raghav...his...his"
" his what pakiya?" She says annoyed
Pakiya under pressure says " RAgHAv got into a car accident"
Kalpi drops whatever she was holding. " y...y...your joking right" she says
When pakiya didn't say a word, she rushed to leave, but stop when she felt dizzy. She heard pakiya voice, but it was blurry for her. She didn't even know her body was falling until she felt arms wrapped around her. Before fainting, she calls raghav name.
