Gauri was busy cleaning the clothes with her hand. She was tired. She tried getting up after bending down so much and wince when her back hurt. She heard a chuckle and turn around. Her face turn red seeing raghav.
" I see your doing well, mother"
" is this funny to you son"
Raghav leans on the door " yes I'm enjoying it " " what would make me even more happy is if you fall on the soap"
" sometime I wonder whose eggs you came from."
Raghav stood straight "I will just leave an let you think about it."
Gauri angrily throws the clothes ,causing the water in the bucket to splash in her eye.
she scream when soap went in her eyes. " help someone help " she yells running inside." no one was around, not even the made. The door opens and Kalpi walks in. Gauri couldn't see clearly , her eyes were stinging.
She ask Kalpi for help, Kalpi taunts her. Gauri realizing it was Kalpi, refuse her help. Kalpi shrug, she walk up the stairs.
Two hours later Kalpi came down tell in Gauri to cook the dishes she recommend. Gauri seeing the list , says she dont know how to cook it. Kalpi tells her to figure it out. Sh says she will give her three hours to cook them and will taste it. She says if she doesnt like it, Gauri will have to recook all over again.
Gauri grabs her hand, " you think just because my son supports you , your the owner of this house. Once the month is over, you will get what's coming" " besides I know my son, he will get bored of you and find someone else"
" your wrong, raghav isnt like that. He loves me a lot, more than you can ever love him"
Gauri smirk " really, did you know that he had a lover before he was in a comma. Did you know that their technically still together. "
Kalpi eyes widen " your lying"
" if you dont believe me ask him. When she found out about him in an accident, she came to the hospital, but I drove her away. She's back in India and has come for my son. What do you think will happen, once he find out"
" I won't believe you, raghav would have told me if he had someone like that.".
Gauri took out a card " see , this is the card she sent for raghav" " I found it in the mailbox. All I have to say is enjoy while you can. You will be gone soon"
Kalpi grabs the card and reads it. Her hand shakes . she ripped the card into peices and left to think. while going to her room, she heard paki shouting and running out the room. Soon follow by Sammy who angrily walks downstairs. " what is going on in this house"
She followed paki and saw her crying in the bathroom. She knocked and paki told her to go away. " hey its Kalpi, can we talk"
" why" she heard
" you look upset so I was wondering if you need someone to talk too"
Their was a long pause, before paki opens the door. She sniffs and explain her problem. Kalpi listening tells her to get him in the romance mood. She tells paki not to bring up the baby talk because his grieving as well.
They talk some more, before kalpi walk back down. She walk in the kitchen to see Gauri done cooking. She tasted each one , and was surprise it was good. She recall Gauri words about raghav replacing her and calmly tells her to recook everything all over again.
" whats wrong with it?"
" it has no flavor"
" no flavor...no flavor!" She yells
Kalpi raise a brow " do you have any objection Gauri"
Gauri was about to say yes, but when she saw raghav coming, she decides to close her mouth. Kalpi smirk " good, please cook it fast , its almost dinner time"
