Here is the update for this story after a really long time. Those who have forgotten the storyline can recheck it for better understanding. The old thread have been closed so I had to start this new thread.
PART 8
Raghav was gazing at Kalpana on the monitor screen that was showing the cctv recordings...Raghav Singhania was never a person who stares at a girl but for him, Kalpana was different from those girls who have been around him. She was a girl whose attitude doesn't depend on the bank balance of a person, rather, was on the attitude a person has towards her...that made her stand out of the crowd and probably that was the reason she had made some special place in his heart...
Raghav was still busy with the stare session when Sammy knocked on the door of his glass cabin...Sammy had noticed the fact that Raghav has been staring at the monitor but he couldn't make out what it was that has grabbed his attention and he is so engrossed in it so he decided to check it out.
Raghav abruptly came out of his thought and gestured Sammy to come in not before quickly grabbing some random files so as to show that he was doing some work..."What it is Sammy?" Raghav asked still looking in the file.
Sammy quickly had a look on the monitor and understood the thing that has gained so much of Raghav's attention and said,"you don't need to pretend man."
"What it is that I'm pretending?" Raghav said with blank look on his face. "That you're busy with that file...it's upside down." Sammy said and giggled a bit.
Raghav was embarrassed for being caught. He was only embarrassed for BEING CAUGHT and not for doing what he did. Raghav tried to make up some argument to conceal everything. "Sammy, what it is that has brought you here. And if you have nothing more than your silly jokes please get lost. I'm busy." Raghav said in a stern tone.
"Yes yes. I know you're BUSY Sir." Sammy purposely laid stress on the word 'busy' and chuckled to himself. "Sammy." Raghav said to stop him from laughing. "Ok ok. I actually came here to discuss about Richard and Company's project. Don't you think the budget that is being provided is too less to give a quality job." Sammy said discussing about some project.
"May I come in." Came a male voice from outside Raghav's cabin when Sammy and Raghav were still discussing about projects. Raghav lifted his head to aee who the owner of the voice was. Sammy gleamed while Raghav cursed under his breath to the person on door.
"Yeah please Prem." Sammy spoke and earned a glare from Raghav.
"What it is that dragged you here Mr. Kapoor." Raghav said with a strict voice.
"Actually Kalpi gave me this file to drop it to you. Please have a look and tell her if any correction is needed." Prem said forwarding a file.
Sammy took the file and gave it to Raghav. Raghav opened the file and was truly amazed by Kalpi's work. He then lifted his head and looked at Prem. Prem really pisses Raghav off for an unknown reason to him. He deliberately took out some mistakes. "What the Hell. I want Miss Jadhav in my cabin. Now." He almost barked this time slamming the file on table.
"I'll get her." Saying so Prem almost ran.
Prem told Kalpi about what happened and told her that Raghav wants her in his cabin. Kalpi tried to stand and walk but her leg was paining very badly. Prem then took her in his arms and carried her to the cabin. Everybody in the office were looking at them. Kalpi felt embarrassed but not Prem.
Raghav saw Prem carrying Kalpi in his arms. That sight was enough to awaken the beast in him. Prem and Kalpi entered his cabin. Prem made Kalpi sit on the chair.
"What it is Mr. Singhania?" Kalpi asked without any hesitation.
"What it is. You're asking me Miss Jadhav. Have you lost it. The facts and figures you have provided for the project is so very wrong. You wanna ruin me or what. Do you have any idea how much loss I could have bore because you. You silly woman." Raghav said in his famous anger tone.
"First of all Mr. Singhania, there is nothing wrong with figures. Sammy gave me the new figures an hour ago. Secondly, i don't ruin people whom I work for and thirdly, don't you dare talk to me like that. I'm not your slave." Kalpi said in same anger tone which Raghav used.
Raghav was astonished with this. No other employees have dared talking with him like this. Not even Sammy, his best friend talked with him this way.
"You may go Kalpi." Sammy said sensing the tension of the moment. Prem again took her in his arms and went outside.
