CHAPTER 1

Squeezing her eyes tight she tried to open them slowly. Where am I? She felt groggily and stiff all over. Her head started to spin as she slowly regained consciousness. As she tried to flex her hand she felt a jolt of pain in her forearm and shoulder. Something was sticked onto her wrist. When she tried to move her legs, there was no reaction. Not even pain. Her eyes widened in shock. Why was there no reaction! Why I couldn't feel anything?

She looked around the room and noticed the monitors beeping, flowers with get well soon cards. She was in hospital but for how long? Where are my parents? What happened to them? Are they ok?

The door opened and a doctor walked in. The doctor looked up the papers in his hands. "Ah Miss. Kalpana Jadhav, you are awake". How are you feeling now?

She tried to answer him but found it parched. Clearing her throat she asked him with a croaky whisper "where are my parents"?

He looked uncomfortable. Why don't you have a glass of water to drink first? Kalpana looked at him with longing eyes of his answers. I would like to check everything. So that we can know your injuries would not be infected and harmful for your health. He handed her a glass of water.

Kalpana realized the bandages in her hands while grabbing the water from doctor. Immediately her hand reached her forehead which was also bandaged. With a shaky hands her hands reached to her legs. The doctor watched her silently with a grim face knowing her upcoming questions.

Kalpana patted it, poked it even slammed her first on her legs. But nothing happened. "Doctor please tell me the truth" Am I no longer able to walk? Sighing, the doctor placed a consoling hand on her shoulder. I'm sorry Miss. Kalpana damage to your legs are permanent. We tried our best during your surgery.

And my parents? Where are they?

By the time ambulance reached the spot, your parents passed away. Their wounds were too and lot of blood loss as well. I'm truly sorry for your loss Miss. Kalpana. Those words crushed Kalpana's heart and tears left her eyes which she was holding for a long. Even the outside surrounding of ICU could hear her heart-wrenching.

Next Chappy:
Kalpana is taken care by her cousin, chacha and chachi. New life, new surrounding, new home.

😊sweet little full of emotions.didnt except that much pain for a little angel ,lost parents .cant walk .and more on top she has to live with uncle and aunty .OMG please god bless her and make strong so she can take all that pain which is on her way.hope raghav come soon in her life .Thanks for update .
