Raghav sat next to Kalpana, as Kalpana settled between Vitthal and Raghav, with Parth in front and Prem and Pakhi went to police station for completing procedure. Kalpana closed her eyes, recalling the harshes she had faced while go, she opened eyes immideitely breathing heavily, as Vitthal and Raghav calmed her down, and made her rest her had on head rest, as Raghav gently caressed her head, with hope to make her relax. It wasn't a while, before she dozzed off silently, and her head shifted from headrest to Raghav's shoulder, who kept on looking at her. She had sindoor in her forehead, making him recall how he had applied it on her forehead. He touched her cheek and tucked the strand of hair behind her ear. "I am sorry," he whispered slowly, "Things didn't go as we had planned, but I assure, things will be well now..." he said taking her hand in his.
Outside Singhaniya mansion,Car screeched in, making Gauri and Kamla get up from sofa and rush there. Raghav gently tapped her cheeks making her get up and look at him and he looked back at her, with smile, "We are home, Mrs. Singhaniya," he commented, breaking her trance she looked around, and pushing herself away, she she stepped outside the car, lost, and numb for a while, as she walked towards house recalling, her groom filling her maang, making her wear mangal sutra and taking pheras, priest declaring them husband and wife. She closed her eyes, letting tears flow down her eyes. Seeing them coming, Gauri jumped out, and made her way towards Kalpana hugging her, "Are you okay my baby...?" she asked hugging her. Kalpana quickly broke the hug and looked at Kamla who was there in tears, and she came out too, hugging Kalpana. Gauri looked on, as Kamla and Kalpi broke hug, she looked at "Sindoor" in her parting, and in her eyes, "Kalpi?" she said, putting her hand on sindoor, Kalpana just looked down, Gauri looked on in shock, and her eyes fell on her mangal sutra she wore around her neck, "Who did this Kalpi?" she asked screaming in shock. Kalpana's eyes remained on floor, and understanding graveness of situation, Parth stepped forward and said, "Raghav!" he replied. Raghav looked at everyone trying to add explaination, but without wasting a second, angry Gauri went towards him, to give him a slap, shocking everyone, "MOM!" screamed Kalpana running towards them, "What are you doing?" she asked. Gauri looked at them angrily, "I don't believe this Kalpi," she said, "You are supporting this man..." she said pointing at Raghav, "Who once broke your heart and cheated on you?" she asked as Raghav looked down in guilt. Kalpana looked down, as she said in low tone, "I am not supporting anyone, this marriage was just need of time!" she said, and looked up, "BUT either ways, you have no right to point fingers or blame anyone, for once you were the same person, who insisted me to marry this same man!" she said with stern face. This time Gauri looked down, and Raghav looked up at her while small smiled appeared on face of Kamla. Kalpana almost took step in, when Kamla stopped her, "Arrey ruko ruko, mein thaali lekar aati hoon.." (Wait wait, let me bring aarti plate..) said Kamla and turned to bring it.. Kalpana anyways stepped in, and stopped her, "No need Kamla aunty, as I said it was just out of situations we have married, and such baseless marriage do not make sense to me." Vitthal came and placed hand on her shoulder, "But for now you need to accept for the rituals were true, and every verse recited was real," he said, "and you are wife of Raghav in front of not only religious priest, but also those people present there, and as you know police and inspector too were present there as a witness, and soon they will begin with witnessed procedure on legal grounds too!" he explained to her politely. Kalpana looked down, unable to answer or refute his request, "Beta, I know it's very difficult for you, but still just think of it in a way, what would have had happened if Raghav and Parth wouldn't have reached there on time?" he asked, "You would have been bounded into this sacred relation with someone like Varun! And you know after which no matter what, you would have to accept that relationship for one year as per legal customs too, with six months of you two staying together, and six away!" he informed as matter of fact. He hugged Kalpana and assured her he will set things right. Kalpana nodded in yes, and Kamla told turned to workers in house, "Help Kalpana in shifting the room," she commanded, and they agreed. Kalpana turned to go towards her room sadly, and entered her room. As she crossed her mirror her eyes fell on different form of herself. Now all of sudden she could see Kalpana, who isn't really her, she was in red lehenga worn by bride, and had mangalsutra tied around her neck and sindoor in her forehead.Raghav came near entrance of the room and stood there looking at Kalpana. Kalpana too looked back, and she had few drops came out from her eyes, she wiped them off as she headed towards cupboard and took out her belonging. Raghav entered her room, and held her hand, "You don't need to force this on yourself," he assured. Kalpana looked back, "I cannot hurt anyone, I am fine!" she said calmly, and continued packing. Kamla too came in room to help Kalpi, and asked Raghav to, make space of Kalpi's things in his room. Raghav left nodding his head. Gauri who saw all this was determined, and more determined, "I will free my daughter from this unwanted marriage!" she said.
Raghav made some space for Kalpana's belonging in his room, and soon as Kalpana entered, she stopped for few seconds, on recalling several past incidents, one of them being catching him kissing neha when they were to wed. Back then too she was in bridal dress, with only missing ornaments of that Mangalsutra and sindoor, which she had now, and rightfully that room was now hers. Kalpana stepped in the room, Raghav smiled at her, as he took the bags she had carried. He placed bags on bed, and held her hand, pulling her towards bed. He made her sit there comfortably, "Please Kalpi.. If you have decided you will be here, I want you to come here as if it's your own room, and it's just yours.. I want you to be comfortable.." Raghav pointed at cot in other end of room, I will get that set up. Kalpana looked at small cot, and looked back at him, unable to say anything, "You need not do anything, it won't..." but her words were cut by Raghav, "It won't look anything wrong! Relax.. Our whole family knows the situation, and no outsider would be peeping in such private matters..." he said, while still holding her hand.. "Mom and Dad knows everything, why would they even question such thing..." he asked, "and other workers have no right to even think about it..." He placed his hand at her cheek, "It's ok... I ..." he paused, "I just want you to be comfortable with this room, and..." Kalpi stood up, "I will sleep there, and you can keep your way as you do..." She said stubbornly, and made her way near cot, but Raghav followed her, "Kalpi, what's wrong with you...?" he asked, and sat next to her on cot, "Raghav please!" she said irritated, "You need not be sacrificing god... and for that matter I know you might have not wanted to marry me at this time, and instead of cursing the time or blaming that arised situations led to it, and you would now have to do all that for me.. and lose your freedom... then you are wrong... YOU CAN STILL BE YOU AND I WON'T BE CONTROLLING YOUR FREEDOM, GO AND HAVE ANYONE WITH YOU, OR ENJOY YOUR LIFE... and I WON'T MIND... I PROMISE!" she said in little louder as tone. Raghav looked at her, this time anger rising, "Fine! You want me to be me?" he said, and laid down on cot, Kalpana looked at him, and he smirked, he pulled her along on the cot, and wrapped his arms around her pulling her completely on that cot into himself, "We both will share the cot!" he said. Kalpana pushed him and tried getting up, but he pulled her back, and wrapped his arms around her stomach, as he whispered, "The only one I want to be with at this moment, is you!" he assured, making Kalpana look at him and he looked back at her, they stared at each other few seconds, till knock on door brought them to reality, as servant who had brought extra blanket stood there with his head lowered down, making Kalpana jerk Raghav off, as she got up to stand up, and went towards servant, "Thank You," she said and servant turned around and left, Raghav got up laughing, "Ufffo, Kalpana next time weather you want to love me, or argue with me, please close the door...!" he teased her, making Kalpana look at him angrily, as she opened her bag on bed and started arranging her clothes in cupboard at superfast speed. Raghav made his way to washroom to get himself freshed, satisfied that things can still be normal, and he wouldn't leave it off now.. Kalpana looked on as he closed the door, and heaved a sigh of relief as she continued unpacking her bag.
It was almost an evening, when Parth and Pakhi came over to Singhaniya mansion, and everyone thanked them, asking Pakhi is she alright. Kalpana hugged them and all of them settled together for chit chat, after horrundous day. Raghav came out of the room to see everyone having time, and he looked at Kalpana, who was finally smiling at the time. All of them settled for dinner after talks and Kalpana was made to sit next to Raghav and she had agreed. After staring at her for couple of seconds, and seeing her stealing awkward glances with Raghav, he decided to tease Kalpana, "So Kalpi, I think we can cancel your tickets two days later...?" he said smiling and Kalpana looked up at him. She puts her spoon down, and recalls day's event, and gets up... Parth was shocked as he hesitatedly, replied "I am sorry...umm.. Kal..." but too late enough she had started walking back, Kamla stopped her, "Beta, have your food before you go.. what is the matter?" she asked, "Nothing Aunty," and looked at Parth, "I think some people are just too happy with the fact, I married the same man, I had always refused to since past one year..." she said, taunting Raghav and snapping back at Parth. Raghav looked down with disappointment and Parth noticed it, feeling little bad for him, but seeing Kalpana going away towards door without having food, he ran with plate behind her, as even Raghav got up without having food, excusing himself, and headed towards his bedroom.Kalpana was sitting in garden, looking nowhere to be specific, but straight. Parth came and sat next to her. He kept his hand on hers, "I am sorry Kalpi.. I didn't mean to hurt you..." he said. Kalpana looked at him pulling her hand away, "It's fine Parth..." she said, "Kalpi, honestly I was not teasing you..." he said, "I was just for you, that you are with right person... I am not sure, if he has realized it or not.. But he does love you.." he said assuring her. "It's all a lie, even if he does, I don't care... I don't feel same way for him," she said.. "Then you are lying Kalpi..." Parth replied, "You are lying not to me, but also to yourself..!" he said recalling how she had stopped Varun from beating Parth and her defending Raghav in front of Gauri too. Kalpana got up from her seat and turned to leave irritated, but Parth held her by her wrist, "Ask yourself Kalpana, tell yourself Kalpana about it..." he said.. Tears rolled down her eyes, as if the hardness she had build for Raghav will just melt away with his words, and she didn't want it, she wiped off tears and turned back, "I don't know what are you talking about Parth! He has nothing for me, I was just once his fiance, and by law now his wife... we share nothing of the sort at personal level!" she snapped back and turned to leave, "Okay Kalpi, I will wait for the day, he will confess his love, and you would refuse that..when you see that sincerity in his words..." Parth shouted in challenging way... Kalpana turned back to reply, "Nothing will change... He has hurt me.. and my heart is wounded enough Parth to let him do that again..." she shouted, "Okay, then please have food...!" he said... Kalpana looked at him rolling her eyes, as he came to her slowly, and placed food plate in front of her eyes. But Kalpana didn't take it, he took a piece of morsal and placed it front of her eyes, unable to refuse him for the sweetness he asked with, she opened her mouth to have it. Raghav smiled slightly, unable to hear their conversation at all, he had his own set of assumptions with respect of Parth and Kalpi, and everytime he sees them, it just confirms his doubts, into deeper sense to be true. Raghav sat on cot, near window, "I just want you to be happy Kalpi, and if it's not me.. then let it be... I won't force you.. ever..!!" he said to himself, "BUT, I will surely set things right.. enough right to make you happy. I have hurt you, and I will make sure, I pay for it.. and give you something... some memory, some smile, and some moments with me... so that in future, I can still be somewhere in your life!" he said determined, "I will heal your wounded heart before freeing you.. I know we have 6 months in hands together for sure... I hope I can...!" he said to himself. Sadness took over him, as tears rolled down his eyes, and he laid back on cot, recalling Kalpana and Parth together at several instances, and Prem telling him about Parth and Kalpana. He wasn't happy, but he had no right to be jealous or stop her from talking to him, for his fears and ego were things that has screwed life for him. But other side of his possessive mind tried reasoning, "SO what? You can set things right, You can keep her happy, and she is YOUR WIFE now, ... You have right to stop her ... to make her yours... If she can move on with Parth after breaking up with you, I am sure she can come back to you now.. Most important of all because she is you WIFE, you have some right to tell her, what are things you like.. !!!" Raghav shot up with such thought, "How can I be so mean even in my thoughts?" wondered Raghav, while his heart whispered, "Why not? If she can fall in love with you again, as your wife... why not can she be with you forever?" Raghav got up pacing up and down in confusion... and unsure of what should he do and what not? His dark mind said, "Stop being confused Raghav, she is yours, and she is meant for you..." but Raghav knew one thing... "She doesn't even care for me anymore? why should I force her to accept this relation?" asked Raghav to himself, "No, argued his heart.. give her sometime..." He again laid down on his cot, trying to sleep... closing his eyes to calm down his thoughts... his every thought.After taking in last bite of food, Kalpana smiled at Parth. "Pheww.. atleast you had your food" he said laughing, "and on other side, poor Raghav, he didn't even eat a bite, and I am sure.. he must have slept by now..." he said, looking at his watch. His words shocked Kalpana, "He didn't?" she asked, "Why?" came another question from her. Parth just looked at the whole thing in most uninterested manner, "I don't know, I guess cuz he was not in any mood..." he said, and turning back to her, "afterall, he is married to a woman, who had clearly refused marrying him since one long year!" he said... slightly in a way of polite taunt, making Kalpana stop, as she recalled her own words. Kalpana's eyes fell on lighted room of Raghav, ... NOW THEIRS, and was shocked. She rushed inside the mansion, while Parth looked on with smile on his face, "Of course, she DOES NOT LOVE HIM! NOR CARES FOR HIM..!!" and continued smiling, as he whispered, "Lier kahin ki..." Kalpana saw everyone were now in main hall, and she smiled at them, and excused herself to put her plate in kitchen, as she went she saw, his food's plate covered with another plate, as rest of members were busy talking about things. She slowly took the plate in her hand and quietly climbed the stairs. Though it was quiet as an act, and wish to be unnoticed from their far sight, Kamla caught it and smiled and slowly, joining her hands, said.. "Deva, now I need not worry about him! SHE WILL TAKE CARE!!"
Soon enough, Kalpana reached the room, and saw Raghav uncomfortably sleeping on cot near window as he tries to fit his tall body onto that small cot. She slowly walked to him, and placed plate on side table there, before placing her hand on his shoulder slightly. With that slightest of touch he woke up and was surprised to see Kalpana there, who just stood drew back her hand as he sat up. Kalpana looked into other direction for few seconds before saying, "umm.. your food, please eat it..!" Raghav looked at plate, and then at her, "I.." she paused, "I am sorry for whatever I did downstairs, but please don't sleep without having it..." Raghav simply nodded for few seconds and looked at plate, before nervously biting his lips, "Actually I am not really hungry, don't worry.." and he again was about to sleep, when Kalpana held him by his arm, "Stop being stubborn Raghav," and instantly sat on cot, and took plate in her hand, she makes piece of roti and brings it to near his mouth, raghav looks at her as their eyes lock for few seconds before Kalpana realizes and starts pulling her hand down. Raghav however holds it, and brings it to his mouth before eating content she held. Kalpana looks in other direction, "I am actually hungry, if you would continue feeding me anything..!" he said teasing her. Blush slightly appeared on her face, but she couldn't see back in his eyes, as she continued making him eat whatever food was in plate and he enjoyed. Kalpana got up to put empty plate back in kitchen, but before that she managed to speak, "Raghav, please sleep on bed, this cot is too small for you, and you are not comfortable.. it's visible..." Raghav looked at her awe, but not wishing to let her sleep in such shape, he repeated his words, "Kalpana, either I sleep here alone, or we both do!" he said, and laid down.. "You are free to join me here..." he said winking at her. Kalpana rolled her eyes, "Bed is bigger, and we can manage space there, we both can sleep on it, you chose your side...!!" she said in one go and quickly turned around and left.. Raghav looked on in confusion and then bed, "I wish Kalpana... But I know it won't be easy for you.. I just don't want to force all this on you yet...!" he thought, he smiled, "But .. she does care for me... She still lo... maybe it's loves me.. if not, she can again love me... I think... I won't be giving up, and let her go off...!!" He lays back with smile on his face.
Kalpana returns back and sees him still sleeping on that small cot near window. She is disappointed but helpless too, as she sits on bed and lays down to sleep. It was almost midnight, when Kalpana starts getting flashbacks, of things she had been through in the day.Varun touching her and holding her, him dragging her, Varun putting gun on Pakhi's forehead, and coming to her and touching her... In a wildest of it, she felt something that could have had happened, as she heard gun shot and blood oozing out from Pakhi, Kalpana screamed and got up, breathing heavily for the horrible dream she saw. Hearing her scream, Raghav got up immediately and ran to her, and saw her breathing heavily, feeling Raghav's presence Kalpana hugged him tight as she kept blabbering, "Varun killed Pakhi.. he killed her..." Raghav realized she had been having nightmare, and started caressing her head as she hugged tighter, assuring her "Pakhi is fine... Parth is fine all are fine..!" Kalpana began to cry as she held on to him even tighter, Raghav made her losen her grip in few minutes and offered her water, Kalpana drank the water, with tears still continuing, and Raghav made her lie down, he patted her forehead with one hand, and Kalpana held on his other hand while she relaxed slowly and drifted off to sleep, holding his hand at her stomach, making him lie next to her, and close to her face, he placed a kiss on her forehead and in her sleepiest form smile appeared on her face. Raghav placed his face near her shoulder burying his head slightly in her neck.
