Part 9:
A couple of weeks after the friends had gone for a bike ride everybody got busy with school as exams were near before summer break and the seniors were getting ready for high school graduation and prom. One Friday after school Kalpi and Kashish were walking home.
Kashish " so my hoity toity what r u doing for the rest of the weekend? I am going dress and suit shopping for the Prom with Sunil as he's graduating this year. Has anyone asked you to Prom"
Kalpi " no no one has asked me"
Kashish winked and said " looks like I will have to give someone a little nudge"
Kalpi looked at Kashish wide eyed " you wouldn't dare . If he wants to ask me he will by himself. But right now he's too much into his Sheila, jameela, Nina, and raaste ka rora Meena. "
Kashish " well it's time he figured out w
ho's right for him and who's not. Who better to drill it into his thick head then his gorgeous sister"
Kalpi " you wouldn't dare . I told you I liked him in confidence "
Kashish " don't worry I m your bestie I won't spill the beans but somebody needs to knock some sense into my lug of a brother Raghav"
Kalpi " leave It BCS let things take their own course"
Just then they heard someone yelling at them from behind.
They looked to see Raghav running towards them. They waited for him to catch up.
Raghav " hey girls you heading home or somewhere else. How about we grab a coffee and head on over to the park."
Kashish " no Rags I am going to the movies with Sunil tonight so Kalpi and I were heading over to our house and she was going to help me pick something out."
Raghav " Chal wo bhi theek hai ghar pe coffee bana lete hai"
As the trio reached Singhania mansion a very interesting sight greeted their eyes.
An aerobics video was on and Mrs. Singhania was bending touching the ground her bum pointing straight at them. If that wasn't enough she started shaking it side to side .
Raghav and Kashish in unison " ewww MOM"
Mrs.singhania " Kay bachon . Is bum that fat like a drum that you have to say ewww. Don't worry mere bache mere bum nahin hai itne kache I wil get it slim trim and make ur dad say ummm ummm mmm and hmmm hmmm hmmm"
Raghav and Kashish in unison again " ewww mom TMI too much information"
Meanwhile Kalpi was swaying her head with Mrs. Singhania's bum movements.
Kalpi " way to go Aunty move those buns "
Kashish and Rags looked at Kalpi Mortified.
Kalpi looked at them innocently " what. Come to my house and all momma Sita does is Wahe guru is kudi noo Akal de. My momma Sita needs to get off her kushy tushy and warm it up like Aunty. Woo hoo shake that tushy aunty."
Rags looked at Kalpi shocked as she went and joined his mom and started shaking her booty as well.
Kashish " hoity toity don't encourage her"
Mrs. Singhania " If u want some snacks with tea and then you two bache better encourage me"
Kashish and rags looked st each other and said " go mom go"
Then the aerobics video came to an end and Mrs Singhania got up.
Mrs. Singhania " chal khatham!! Run along little boy and girls and these slim trim hips will bring you some garma farm pakoras with masala chai no chakte hi karo gay Tum ummm mmm hai hai"
Raghav and Kashish rolled their eyes and grabbed Kalpi and went to Kashish's room.
Kalpi " your mom is awesome my momma Sita is boring "
Kashish " omg she is embarrassing yaar"
Kalpi just laughed.
Raghav " I do not like seeing my mom in spandex... Ewww"
Kalpi and Kashish laughed.
Just then Kashish winked at Kalpi and said " So Raghav who did you ask to the prom? It's only a few weeks away you know"
Raghav " I haven't asked anyone yet. I have been too busy with my university applications and provincial exams. But I guess I better start figuring out who I want to take to the prom"
Kashish " well you never know that girl could be right under your "nose" or right beside you keeping you on your toes ." And as she said this Kalpi elbowed her really hard making Kashish pinch her and then wink.
Kalpi " leave him alone Kashish this poor guy is surrounded by so many hotties ke kis kis ko le kar Kaye prom. He will have Rekha on one arm and sunaina on the other and shradha ho gi unn Dono ke middle Rags Kare ge uss ke balon ke saath fiddle"
Raghav " shut up you two I am not taking three girls to the Prom only one"
Kashish " chal hoity toity help me choose an outfit to go out with my nilu
As Kalpi and Kashish were going through the closet Mrs. Singhania had brought up snacks and tea.
Raghav put the tray down and said " by the way sugar snap I didn't realize you could shake that little hot booty so well " saying that he winked at her
Kalpi looked at him with wide eyes and blushed. Which did not go unnoticed by Kashish.
Kashish quickly went into the washroom and changed and said " okie dokie kids my nilu is waiting for me on the driveway I just got his text so see you tommorrow which will be another awesome day as my nilu and I are going shopping for our outfits to the prom. Yay !! Well toodles see ya wouldn't wannabe be ya"
And with that Kashish blew an air kiss and left.
Kalpi and rags were left alone while drinking tea and eating pakoras.
As they were eating Raghav asked Kalpi " so what are your plans for tonight?"
Kalpi " no plans tonight just going to sit in my jammies at home ad watch whatever is on tv and u?"
Raghav " same as you. "
Just then Raghav made a happy face and said " hey sugar snap you want to go to the movies dilwale is playing"
Kalpi looked at him and beamed and gave him a hug without thinking and said " I would love to I have been dying to see that movie"
Just then Kalpi felt Raghavs arms go around her and give her a hug back. She pulled away with a blush.
Raghav " If I knew I would get such a great response I will ask you to the movies every day ."
Kalpi smiled at Raghav and said " I should go home and get dressed. So will you pick me up or meet me at the movie theatre?"
Raghav " hey I pick up my dates I am a gentleman ."
Kalpi thought " ong he is calling this a date ... Yaaay!!!!" But outwards she said " ok so see you in half an hour then"
Raghav " sounds like a plan. "
With that Kalpi went home and started getting ready for her date"
When Kalpi left Raghav jumped in the air and said " yaaay I finally asked her out!!!" And he went up to his room to get dressed.
Kalpi got ready in a black leather mini skirt with a red sleeveless turtleneck and denim vest. Too finish the look she put on black open toed knee high boots. She did her hair in a side braid and wore shimmer lip gloss with kohl black eyeliner.
When Kalpi came down she was greeted by her parents, she gave them a kiss good bye and told them she was going with Raghav to which they readily agreed as they were quite fond of him.
As soon as Raghav rang the doorbell Kalpi opened the door and they left. Raghav was wearing dark blue denims with a baby blue t-shirt and white blazer on top.
Raghav took one look at Kalpi and was bowled over. Just when he thought she couldn't look prettier she looked prettier.
Raghav " ummm you look really pretty"
Kalpi smiled " thank you. You look really nice as well"
Raghav smiled and opened the car door for her.
Once they were at the theatre Raghav went and got the tickets and then he got popcorn.
They went and sat down at their seats. Soon the movie started but Kalpi was having a hard time seeing. Their was a very bald very tall man sitting in front of her and an equally tall lady with really big hair in front of Raghav.
On kalpis side was a gawky boy who kept trying to hold her hand or touch her. Next to Raghav was a girl with her hair slicked back in a braid with oil and extremely bushy eye brows making eyes at him.
Both Kalpi and Raghav were having a hard time trying to see the movie . Kalpi was stretching her back trying to see the movie when she felt something moving up her arm . Kalpi squirmed and jerked her arm hitting the boy next to her straight in the face. Then Kalpi looked over about to apologize and realized it was the boys hand that had been travelling up her arm. Just then Kalpi looked straight and the bald man started scratching his head.
Kalpi felt the boys gand making its way up her arm again and Kalpi got an idea. She grabbed the boys arm and slapped the bald mans head with it. The bald man looked back angrily and the boy gulped and said sorry.
The bald man turned around and started watching the movie again. The boy started feeling Kalpis arm again. Just then Kalpi saw the bald man bring his coffee cup to his mouth and Kalpi immediately grabbed the boys hand and smacked the bald mans head really hard jerking his coffee cup and making it land on the big haired lady.
Big haired lady " Ahhh" and she got up and started hopping up and down saying " hot hot hot"
The bald man turned around and picked the gawky boy up by his collar lifting him off his feet.
The bald man " You little pip squeak "
The boy was shaking " i am s..s..sorry"
The bald man was about to say something when the big haired lady went Thwack and smacked the bald headed man right on his butt causing him to fall forward smashing the boy against the wall. Raghav taking Kalpis hint grabbed the purse of the girl beside him and swing it at the big haired lady. The purse hit her bang on and flung the wig off her head . The lady immediately touched her head and looked back at the girl.
Raghav " feel up my thigh now geek squad "
And the girl looked at him scared. The lady grabbed the girl by her hair and flung her off her seat making her bang into the bald headed man who banged into the lady next to him. The lady thinking he was hitting on her picked up her drink and poured it on the bald mans head . The bald man got up and looked at the lady but her husband got up and said " come on baldy... Touch my woman do you... Let's dance"
And he took a swing at the bald man but he ducked and hit the big haired lady on the top of her head and sent the wig she had just put on her head flying making it land on the old man in fronts face.
Old man " ahhh shanti shanti main Andha ho Gaya . Mere vision tho gayee main loot Gaya main mar Gaya main ankhon ke begair kiya karoon ga."
His wife shanti reached over and took the wig off his face and said " is this better" and she threw the wig behind her making it land on the bald man making him look a big haired bearded lady . The old man looked at him and started screaming " shanti bachao bachao. I see a bearded lady bachao bachao" shanti reached over and smacked the old man " that's the wig that landed on your face"
The big haired lady went running to the bald man for her wig but tripped in the process landing in the old mans lap.
The old man got startled and screamed " shanti shanti am I dead !!!!! But I didn't know that heaven had bald apsaras in it. Shanti if this is what a apsara in heaven looks like then mujhe Mauth se wapas le aao. Bacha lo Shanti bachalo iss ganji apsara se" and then smack he got another slap from his wife " Mara nahin budhe yeh moti ganji Tum par gir gayee"
And Shanti pushed the big haired wigless lady off of the old man. Hearing all the commotion a huge ruckas erupted in the theatre and Raghav quickly grabbed Kalpis hand and took her out of the theatre.
Kalpi and Raghav came running out of the theatre laughing.
Raghav " you are so naughty you troubled that man so much"
Kalpi " well the boy next to me was bothering me I had to teach him a lesson"
Raghav " what !!! Why didn't you tell me I would have straightened him out!!"
Kalpi put her arms around his arm as they walked and said " well I handled it didn't I. Just like you handled miss oily hair" and Kalpi started laughing.
Raghav And Kalpi had dinner and went home. At her house Raghav said " thanks for going to the movies with me. I had the best time ever"
Kalpi smiled and said " thanks for asking me if was the best night ever for me to. "
And they said goodbye. Just as Kalpi turned Raghav said "sugar Snap" and Kalpi turned around to look at him and Raghav came close to her and kissed her on her cheek and hugged her. Breaking the hug he said " good night"
And Kalpi smiled and said " good night"
