Chapter 36

Kalpi was sitting in a cafe, drinking tea with the lady she save. She knew some thing was off with her, she just can't figure it out. Kamla thank her once again for saving her. Kalpi told her it was the right thing to do. It wasnt long before they went their separate ways.

Meanwhile raghav was talking to Sammy, Sammy told him after work he should meet the Cook he was talking about. Raghav agreed, he said as long as she's good then he will hire her.

It wasn't long before he was at the stand. Sammy smile and told him that's the girl. Raghav cleared his throat and walk to her, she turns around smiling, but stop when she saw raghav. " can I help you?"

" yes I would like to try your cooking" he says

Kalpi fake smile before getting to work, she made a nice dish and amaya serve it. Raghav glares at Sammy and asks why he didn't tell him she was the cook. Sammy says if I had, you wouldn't agree. Raghav roll his eyes before trying the food, he was surprise at how good the food was. " so how is it?"

Raghav cleared his throat before wiping his hand, he walk to kalpi and ask her to see him at his restaurant . he gave her a card and she looked at it. She was about to ask him, what's this about when he left without saying a word.

The next day kalpi entered the restaurant, raghav had all the staff lined up. When he saw kalpi he told her to come to him, which she did. Than he introduce everyone to her and told them she is their new cheff, " what!!" She says

Ragahv turn to her and asks if their was a problem. She says he can't just make her come here and claim she was cooking for him. Raghav asks why not and she replied " because I refuse"

Everyone staid quiet scared of raghav anger. Raghav dismiss everyone when kalpi starts to walk away. He ran after her and told her he really needs her.

" I'm sorry mr.singhania, but I'm not a toy. You can use ... I already told you before I don't want anything to do with you, so leave me please" she says

Raghav rough his hair " why does this always happen" he says

Meanwhile kalpi was walking on the side walk. She was pissed an angry, she cursed raghav under her breath, but stop when she saw the girl from the hospital. She was running not looking where she was going. A car turn heading straight to her , kalpi scream telling the girl to move.

The girl look at her, and wave. Kalpi suddenly ran, she started to have flashbacks of her childhood, coming to the city, meeting raghav and aadita. realization finally dawn on her , she ran as fast as she can screaming and praying to ramji to help her " Aadita!" She says grabbing her and pulling her out the way.

She hug her while crying " my child, Aadita... Your alive" she says touching her face. The girl now known as Aadita looks up in tears " kalpi did I" she says

Kalpi nod before emotionally hugging her. When they were calm, she apologized for not recognizing her. She told her she had lost her memories. Aadita told her its OK, she did too. Kalpi took her to her house and their the family question her . she told them everything and they were shock. Amaya asks if she will really leave them now . she says no, but she will search for her dad, she says he must be sad over her death.

She turn to Aadita and asks how she was alive and she explained everything. Turns out, after the incident the doctors were managed to save her. Paki and her family switched managed to find a look alike and switch her. After raghav left they took her to another hospital. When they found out she had lost her memory it was a win situation for them. Gauri told them to let her stay there so paki would get closer to raghav. After marrying paki they were gonna send her away so she would never see her dad again.

But their plan backfired, when she met kalpi at the hospital. She remembered her, but pretended like she didn't know. So when the chance came she ran away. She also told them the one behind her accident was them, it was a plan planned by all three and paki. The plan was to kill kalpi, but they ended up hitting Aadita. After her story, kalpi was beyond mad. She was angry that they managed to kill her twice and they attempted to kill her daughter " I won't forgive them"

Amaya seeing her cousin pain asks what should they do, kalpi told them this was her fight. She will handle those criminal, she says she's saden that her mother was a part of this. But at the same time don't care " those criminal, don't know what I am capable of , they have never seen what a women in love can do , or a mother wrath. I will make them loose the most important things to them raghav and money.they will not live " she says

Dadi told her to calm down. She says she has to think with a clear mind and heart. If she want her plans to run smoothly, then use what information she already have. She also said take advantage of her condition, to ruin them. Kalpi smile evilly " your right dadi, if the police can't stop me they won't either"

She turn around to see Aadita looking down. Kalpi asks her what's wrong and she says she hasn't ate since morning. The family smile, amaya told her to come and kalpi will make the best meal ever. She smiles and ran to the kitchen, kalpi laughs with tears. Dadi seeing this puts her hand on her shoulder " this is the time to spend as much time with her as you can. She must be really lonely so go and make her happy" she says

Else where, kalpi got a call from the hospital saying Aadita is missing. She almost crashed her car while screaming. Neetu asks her what's wrong and she explain the situation. " this is not good, what if she meets raghav or raghav finds her"

" she's right, but Aadita lost her memories so they probably won't meet." Gauri says

Neetu roll her eyes " isn't this a good thing, she's out of the picture"

Paki says it was, but theirs a chance raghav might recognize her and vis-versa. We will be in deep trouble if that happens. Paki told them once they find her they will ship her off to america. She will stay in a good orphanage, she finished. Before driving again.

Chapter 37

Kamla went to check on the mail, she came in and look over it. She was surprise to see a letter address to all three of them. Neetu eating grapes asks if anything came for her, kamla gave it to her. It wasn't long before paki came down and kamla hand hers to her. She looks at it confuse as to why it had no sender.

She opens it to see a big letter in bold " MURDERER" , shock she sat on the stairs shaking. Kamla looks at her, she asks whats wrong and she showed the letter to them. Neetu says what is this, why do you have the same thing as me. Kamla also shows her letter surprising them.

They sat down in the living room, the letter in the center of the table. They were trying to figure out who did this. Suddenly gaur I came, she walk to them and showed them the same letter. She asks if they are joking with her, and kamla says no , they wonder who could have done this. Neetu says " do you think someone found out about what we did?"

" no we were to clever hiding the tracks"

" then who could it be... The driver, the maids , or the government" neetu says whispering the last part

Gaur I roll her eyes " enough with your stupid thinking. Its obviously kalpi" she says

" kalpi? You forgetting she's not the same kalpi that died" kamla says remembering the time she spent with her.

" no.. No gaur I is right, what if she is pretending like she doesn't remember and is trying to scare us" paki says

Neetu rub her chin " then we have to find out, if she is doing this than we kill her before raghav finds out"

" don't talk like that yet, until I bring her to you guys" she says getting up. Kamla asks her where she was going and she smile saying raghav. They told her to go, they will handle this, suddenly they heard the door being close. They all grab their letter thinking its sahil. When no one came, gaur I walk to the window, looking for anything suspicious, all she saw were few cars passing by. Kamla asks if she saw anything, she says no just cars.

Paki got up and grab her things. She said good bye before walking away, she drove all the way to raghav restaurant before entering. Their people greets her and welcome her. She asks for raghav and they told her his talking to international people. She thank them and walk to his office, there she overheard raghav talking about making them the best traditional food. They said if someone will make it, he was about to tell them he will when paki interrupted them saying she can do it.

Bugle raghav told her not to interrupt them. She says it doesn't matter she can do it. One of the people said let her if she wants to do it, raghav sigh before giving in. Paki thank him before going. Raghav look at them and told them they will go down shortly. While he was in his office, he got a call from his secretary. " yes" he says

" theirs a kalpi here for you, sir"

Curious raghav told her to bring her in. She walks in nervously,while raghav looks at her waiting for her to speak. " raghav" she says " I accept your propersition"

"I don't understand you, one minute you are nice and then the next you are cold towards me. What's exactly do you want" he says

Kalpi looks at him in the eye " a chance" she says

Raghav told her he can't do it, making her sad . as soon as she was about to leave his office he calls her " fine, I will give you a chance" he says this time it was kalpi that was surprise. He told her he has some foreign people waiting on him, and that they want to try some traditional food. He told her if she can make something good for them then she got the job.

Kalpi told him, she will do it. Raghav calls someone and told him to direct kalpi to the kitchen. Once she was gone, he couldn't help smiling, fate is really strange, he thought before getting to work. Once kalpi reached the kitchen, she was surprise to see paki. Paki asks her what she was doing here and she told her she's being tested. Paki fake like she was happy, she was really angry that raghav told her to cook for the foreigner s.

Kalpi was holding back her resentment, she was glaring really hard at paki when her face was turned. She quickly fake smile , and told her good luck. They both didn't speak the whole time, kalpi was happy for that. She didnt know what she would do, if she had to hear her mouth. Kalpi on task was making some foreign traditional food each from different country while paki was just making plain Indian traditional food.

When kalpi went to use the bathroom, paki add some chilli spice on her food. And she even added more salt on her rice, she says let's see if you will get the job now. She quickly went back to her side when she heard footsteps. Kalpi walk to her food and start trying them, she half choked when she realize how salty and hot they were. Raghav came and told them they have one minute, he looks at kalpi who was just standing their, he asks if she was OK. She nod, he told her their about to start and to prepare the food.

Kalpi confuse wonder how the food turned out this way. When she saw paki smirking she knew right away it was her doing. Paki went to grab some plates and call some servers. Once they came they lift her food and walk away. By that time, kalpi decides to change up the food. She says it might be hot and salty, but I can still make it good. She look at the clock and quickly start fixing things, once done she grab a cart and walk to the dinning room.

Paki present her food in front of them, she told them its an old rich Indian food that will make your mouth watery. They look at one another before trying it. Paki smiles at raghav, she puts her hand around his and lean her head on his shoulder. That's how kalpi saw them, she was steaming with jealousy. When raghav saw her he quickly remove paki from him making her pout.

Suddenly the foreigners starts couphin and demanding water. Raghav quickly gave them water bottles. Paki was confuse, she didn't know why they were acting like this, she checked the food earlier and it was fine. They look at raghav and told him, the food was disgusting. They asks him who made it, and he looks at paki. Paki told them the food was perfectly fine earlier, she walk to the table and tried the food, she half choked. Raghav tried it as well and he glares at paki. " is this some type of joke paki"

." no raghav, I promise you it wasn't like this earlier" she says

Kalpi smirk thinking about it. See when paki walked away, she had took her own revenge and add chilli pepper on all her food. Now see how I get on raghav good side, she thought. She walk up to them and told them she thinks this would be more suitable for them. She opens the food and they were shock to see traditional food from their home. It not only look appetizing, the smell was wonderful too. Kalpi quickly distribute and let them enjoy. Paki glares at her, she now realize that kalpi mess up her food. She watch as they kept eating and praising kalpi.

Raghav tried the food too and was proud. The food was delicious, it had a rich taste to it and it makes you want more. Once they finish, they told raghav that her fiance did good . paki smile but she soon frown when they look at kalpi. They told him she was a keeper and also to not let her go. Raghav was about to tell them she wasn't his when they look at paki. " young lady, if you are the chef you need to learn to cook. You will make this restaurant loose its ten star. Learn something from her" they said before leaving.

Once gone paki smash something's on the floor. " are you OK paki?" She asks in a gentle tone, paki glares at her, but she quickly calm down When she looks at her confuse face. " I'm fine, just frustrated" she says before adding " are you coming to my house tomorrow"

" yes I can't wait to see our mother" she says happily

" I can't wait either" she says before walking away

Few hours pass, kalpi was waiting for a bus. She was surprise it started pouring so fast. She just hope she makes it on time. While waiting, a car stops right in front of her. Raghav puts his window down offering her a ride. She gladly took it, she thank him and instruct him where she lives. He told her he knows, the silence was killing them both so raghav decides to speak. He told her he was impress with her and so was his clients. She told him it was nothing. When he turn to her house he park and she got out.

She thank him once again and turn to Go when her house exploded. Shock, shock kalpi fell on the floor. Raghav quickly got out asking i f she was OK. She nods and look at her house burning. He asks if their were people in there, she says no. She told him, her family left for vacation so its just her.

It wasn't long before the ambulance came and asks her question, she answered them and they told her she has to find some where to live until further nottice. She says she has no where to go, the firefighters told her she better find a relative. Kalpi cried, raghav seeing this held her, he told her his house has many room, she can stay there. She refused at first, but he told her he won't take no for an answer.

He drag her to his car and drove home. When he reached kalpi got out and remisc everything that happens to her. They remove me from this house, but I always come back. See how I will destroy all the sinners here, she whispers. She quickly dialed a number and her cousin pick up. " I'm in" she says

" good, I guess moving to a new house was a good idea after all" she says

" yeah, is everyone OK?" She asks

" yeah, dadi is playing with Aadita while I'm preparing food." She says

" I will visit when I have the chance, take care of her for a while. I know she wanted to stay with her dad"

" I will kalpi, you just make them regret you were never recarnated." She says before hanging up

She looks at the house before raghav told her to come. She nod and follow him, don't worry amaya I will make them pay and confess to their crime, she thought.

Chapter 38

Kalpi look at the house she once lived in. She bends down while raghav wasnt looking and took blessing. When she stepped inside he house she remember priya past. Gauri hatred towards priya, how she was pushed down the stairs and became handy cap, how she was blamed for Aadita death and more. She touched the walls while going up the stairs, remember every happiness she had and sad moment leading up to her death.

Once they've reached the top of the stairs, raghav took her to one of the guest rooms. She look over it and realized it was the one closer to Aadita room. She thank him for letting her stay, and he told her. He wouldn't let his new employee homeless. He told her this is marely business, no relation can come out of this since his engaged. Kalpi says in her head, he's still talking about this.

Raghav turn to leave, but stop when Kalpi calls him. " raghav"

He turn half way looking at her " what is it"

" can you not tell your parents that I'm staying here" she says

" why not?"

" because I don't want make it uncomfortable for them. Besides theirs no point when I will be leaving soon."

Raghav nod before turning go leave, but she stops him once again " Raghav?" She says

" what now?"

She walk up to him before kissing his cheek" thanks again for doing this" she says

Raghav to embarrassed didn't respond, but instead turn and leave the room. He look at her door before saying " I will have to talk to her about no hitting on the boss."

Meanwhile, paki and her parents we're sitting in the living room. Neetu got of the phone angry. Paki asks her if they found her yet, she says no. Gauri says where could a child like her gone. It shouldn't be that hard to find her.

Paki Sigh " that's not the only problem , who ever sent that letter knows something. We have to figure it out who it is and how does he know our secret."

" hold on Paki, we don't know for sure if they know our secret. We have To play our card right " kamla says

" luckily sahil doesn't know about this" Neetu says

" know about what?"

They all turn to see sahil on the stairs, fixing his sleeves. Paki laughs it of, she lk up to him and kiss him. She told him, he got her. " we we're planing on doing a surprise party for you"

Sahil smiling told her if that was the case, then he will pretend like he doesnt know. he walk to the kitchen to grab something, giving paki enough time to put her shoes on.

" where are you going?" Neetu asks

" to buy party stuff to make him an actual party" she says before leaving. Gauri stood up as well saying it was me for her to leave

Once she left she came home. She open the door and entered before going up the stairs. While walking she heard the phone " whose here?" She asks

When no one responded, she took two steps, .their she heard it again. " someone get the phone" she screams, she saw one of her maid running to get it. She sigh before going up the stairs, when reached the top, she heard laughter, coming from priya room.curious she wonder who could be their so late. She walk to her room and open it. No body was there, she entered trying to figure out where the laughter came from, but quickly turn when the door close. She ran to the door, pulling and twisting it, when no one answer she bangs on it.

" help" she says

She heard a noise follow by a sound. She turn around to see priya picture staring at her. she wonder why it was still hanging there. She glares at the picture all while saying if you had left my Raghav when you had the chance, then you wouldn't be dead she laughs at the picture but stop when she saw someone. That person was non other then priya. " how wonderful Gauri ma, you wanted me dead. Now see how I take you to your grave" she says by the window. Gauri surprise got scared she told her she's not real and that the room is just making her feel weird.

Priya laughs, if I wasn't real, would I have done this, she says pushing her, Gauri fell on the door, surprise. She watch as Priya came closer with a knife. Saying her days are over. Gauri scared kept pushing the door until it opened. Once it opend. She ran straight Raghav door, knocking. When raghV opens he asks what happend, and she explain everything. Raghav told her she's just being paranoid. She told him to come with her, so he can see

and so they both head to the room. When Raghav enters their was no one there, priya picture wasn't their either " see mam, nothing. Now go to sleep " he says

He ignore Gauri protest and went to bed. Gauri sigh, she walk to her room and open it. She still couldn't believe what happen, " I guess I'm to tierd" she says

When she puts her light on to change she saw what looks like blood on her white sheets. she saw Something spelled in big letter. "you will get what's coming" shock she scream and ran to Raghav room, she told him once again what she saw and Raghav decides to go to her room. Once again their was nothing. The room was clean and the sheets had no blood.

Raghav told her that he thinks it's about time she go and see her doctors . Gauri told him she's not crazy, and that priya did this. But Raghav shut her off , he told her he's taking her to her doctor early in the morning.

While this was happening, Kalpi wiped the powder of her face while laughing. She puts the fake knife away before saying " when I was priya, you put me in a mental hospital for three weeks. I kept telling people I'm not mantle. I was injected, and given medicine because of you. Now see how I send you to that same place. I will make sure you never get out." She says before throwing away the fake blood.
