Chapter 29
Kalpi sang to herself while twirling the key. She pop the gum and smile to herself. When I set my eyes on something I never give it up. She thought, " he's probably married baste on the ring" she mumble "no he doesn't seem like it, he looks lonely" she says. Just than she saw a bird about to fall of a tree, she was about to get up when she remember something.
Flashback
" why are we here raghav?"
he looks at her while holding her hand " I wanted you to relive your childhood since you didn't have one", Priya smile before squeezing his hand " that's very generous of you raghav, but being with you is enough to wash away the bad memory"
Raghav nod before taking her to the swing, he push her making her close her eyes. She could feel the wind on her face, her hair blowing and getting on her face. She open her eyes to look at raghav, but stop when she saw a baby bird about to fall of a tree. She gasp, she could see the baby searching for his mom while crying for help. getting up she race to save the bird, she quickly climb up the tree, then she stretch to reach for the net.
She carefully grab the baby and put it back. Raghav seeing this smile, he told her to get down. She told him OK, as soon as she move the tree branch break and she fall. Raghav quickly race to her and caught her in time.
" don't do this again, its very dangerous" he says worriedly
Priya apologized before looking at the bird, who was happily being peck by his mom. " see raghav, if I didn't save that bird. A mother would have lose her child. I don't want that for them even if they are birds." She said sadly
Raghav understood very well. He told her she did the right thing reuniting a mother and her child, before looking at her stomach smiling.
End of flashback
Confuse kalpi wonder whose memory that was. But stop when she heard the bird screaming. "No!" She says running towards it. The bird fell of the nest trying to fly,but he couldn't. Kalpi quickly caught the bird before it hits the floor. She smile at her reflex. She watch as the bird chirp, trying to get up, but couldn't. Kalpi smile, she told it not to force itself and that he will get there. This made the bird look at her, kalpi got up to put the bird back, while climbing she was unaware of the branch cracking.
As soon as the bird was in the nest the branch broke, surprising her. She scream and close her eyes, but stop when she land on someone. She look down to see raghav laying underneath her " can you get of me" he says
" no are you OK, or why were you on a tree" she says
" it was inconvenience that I was under that tree" he says turning to it, before looking at her big brown eyes. Kalpi frown at that , but she quickly erased it and put on a grin " so you came to see me mr.suit"
" mr.suit? I prefer you not calling me that" he says
" and why not?"
" that's not my name"
Bingo, she thought this was exactly what I was waiting for. " so what is your name?"
Raghav was about to give it to her when he heard people whispering and talking about how shameless they are laying there in an inter mate position. Raghav frown at that, while kalpi giggle. " don't mind them" she says
" get of"
" why?"
" I don't have time for this"
" me either, how can I when I'm hurt"
Raghav roll his eyes " your lying,you shouldn't be since you fell on me"
Kalpi sigh " OK OK you got me" she says before getting up. She could see the people around them watching from afar. She gave raghav her hand to help him. But he brush it aside while getting up he told her that she was a wild shameless girl and a thief. Which she took as a complement. He fixed his tie before asking her for his keys. She took it from her pocket, " go on a date with me" she says
Ragahv plainly reject her, she told him if he doesn't she will do something so terrible it will make people talk. " Im engaged" he says
"I don't care"
" how can you be so shameless" he says
" shameless, do you really want me to show you how shameless I can be mr.suit" she says before raghav could reply she kissed him. He was surprise , so was the people at the park. Some of them were paparazzi, they took pictures excited to get a scoop on raghav. He push her away telling her not to do it again, she told him to smile for the camera before grabbing his hand that held an engagement ring. " listen up everyone, this man is no stranger, he is my fiance. So stop talking bad about us" she says raising their intertwine hands.
Raghav blood went cold, he was very angry. First this strange girl steal his key, then kiss him and now announced she's his fiance. He let go of their hands before asking for her name " why? Your interested" she says
"No I'm filing a complain against you", kalpi nervously laugh before saying her name was Priya. " Priya? Ok be ready" he says before walking away. Kalpi while watching him leave says " I am way smarter than you mr.suit, you won't be able to find me neither will the police" she laughs
