CHAPTER 3
They remembered their first meeting.. In USA, raghav was boxing against his opponent.. Kalpi was a doctor working at one of the hospital... She went to watch the boxing match due to her friend's insistence.. She never loved these violent sports.. She is basically a soft hearted person... Raghav punched his opponent on his face very hardly and knock out him...
S: " raghav, here.. This is india..", he said energetically while coming out of the Mumbai airport...
R: " u r talking like I'm coming to india for the first time..Furthermore, we didn't take the wrong flight to land up somewhere else...", he said with bored eyes..
Sammy chuckled..
S: " no dude.. It has been years since u last came to India.. So.."
R: " so, u thought to introduce it again.. Come on sammy.. U r going to get married.. So, pls.. I beg u.. Grow up...", he said irritated..
S: " hey.. What? I was just.. Fine... Leave it.. Here I'm trying to make u happy.. But u.. U always find mistakes in me.. Looks like u r not my friend anymore..", he said pouting and turned his head to the opposite side..
R: " ufff.. Sammy, stop behaving like a woman... Otherwise, ur in laws will feel that u r gay...", he said laughing slightly..
Sammy widen his eyes and turned to look at raghav...
S: " That.Was.Such.A.Lame.Joke.", he said sternly..
" chote saab..", ramu, sammy's driver came there..
Then, raghav and sammy went to sammy's house in car..
Raizada Mansion...
"Look who is here?", a man came there excited..
He was Suraj Raizada, sammy's dad.. He went towards them with arms wide open and gave raghav a bone crashing hug...
Su: " raghav, u handsome young man.. How r u?"
R: " suraj uncle.. Im good..", he said normally..
Su: " hahaan.. I dont think so..", he said with narrowed eyes...
R: " nothing uncle.. Im good..", he said not meeting his eyes..
Suraj knew everything as sammy told him.. So, he decided not to force raghav...
Su:" ok.. then.. How was ur journey? How is gauriji?"
Suraj and raghav were involved in their talks.. Sammy felt like he never existed there..
S: " papa!! Im here too!!", he said in complaining tone..
Su: " oh.. Sammy.. U r here?", he said teasingly..
Sammy pouted and raghav and suraj uncle laughed out loud looking at his cute face..
Su: " acha.. Tk.. U two must be tired.. Go and take rest.."
At medical camp...
P: " papa.. U r not serious.. are u?", she asked in phone..
Kalpi and prem looking at her drama since past half an hour..
P: " lekin papa!! Husss.. Fine!! But papa, i cant come home... Unless, that gadhe want to marry me without meeting me..."she said angrily and cut the call..
Kalpi and prem laughed at her situation..
P: " can u two pls shut ur mouths.. It is not funny!!", she said sitting on the chair near kalpi with a huff..
Pr: " pakhi, u r dad is asking u to get married not to murder someone...", he said snickering..
Pakhi looked at him with blank face..
K: " haan.. U r getting old.. Get married.."
Pakhi pouted and continue munching her biscuits..
Night came..
Raghav was sitting on swing placed at the balcony of his room.. His fingers tracing the guitar strings and his eyes lost in the beauty of the moon and the scattered stars..
While at the medical camp all are asleep.. But sleep was far away from kalpi's eyes... She went to sit at the river bank...
Raghav's took the guitar in his hand and started playing it... And he started singing.. Kalpi played the same song on her iPhone.. That was and is their favourite song...

Raghav sang remembering his happy life with his love by his side.. While on the other side, kalpi hugged her legs close to her chest and stared at the shadow of the moon on the river surface..

He looked at the direction of the sound and found her covering her face in fear... The referee announced him as the winner.. Kalpi opened her eyes to look at him in fear... Raghav was awestruck by those beautiful eyes which were in fear at that moment.. He fell in love with her in first sight,,,His full concentration was on her even when the media asked him questions.. When he turned to answer the questions, she disappeared...

He found where she works and straight away went to her hospital to meet her... Ignoring the hundreds of ppl surrounding them, he kneeled down in front of her and proposed her...
R: " i love you... Will u marry me?", with a diamond ring in royal blue velvet box..
Kalpi was shocked and denied as she never knew him and moreover he is a boxer.. But raghav never gave up.. He went to her hospital everyday to sweep her off of her feet.. His kind nature and love made her attracted towards him...
After a lots of efforts, she finally fell in love with him.. Both are different from each other but like opposites attract, they were so much in love with each other..
So open your eyes and see

Kalpi's parents rejected raghav's proposal to marry kalpi at first place.. They thought being a boxer he cant be a good life partner for their daughter... They denied to agree that their soft hearted daughter and raghav who loves boxing will not be a good match.. But, as kalpi and raghav love each other so much, they finally agreed for the marriage...
They had a typical punjabi wedding... Life was so beautiful... Full of love and care for each other...

From America
At present,
K(self talk): " i was wrong raghav.. I was wrong.. We are not meant to be together..", a tear managed to slip from her eye..
R(self talk): " i lost the most precious thing of my life.. My love.. My kalpi.. I was wrong kalpi... Ur parents were right... Im not a good match for u..", and tears flowed from his eyes as well...
Raizada mansion...
S: " u r still a wonderful singer dude..", sammy came there..
Raghav just gave him a sad smile...
R: " her favourite song..", he muttered softly with head bowed down and his fingers brushing the strings of the guitar...
Sammy felt sad seeing his friend's pain.. He went and sit beside him.. He thought to change is mood...
S: " raghav... Look what i have here in my hand..", he said showing an envelope...
Raghav frowned...
At riverside..
" nice song...", a voice came..
K: " prem?? U r still awake?", she asked surprised...
Prem came and sat near kalpi...
Pr: " just.. Not feeling sleepy..", kalpi looked back at the river..
There were silence for few minutes..
Pr: " is he handsome?", he asked while his eyes looking at the moon..
K: " very...", she muttered softly and sadly laughed slightly with her eyes still looking at the calm river water..
Pr: " more than me?", he asked in little jealousy while looking at her..
Kalpi nodded her head in yes with a small sad smile lingering her face..
Prem sighed and smiled...
K: " prem...", she called him..
Pr: " hmmm?"
They looked at each other..
K: " i met ur mom... She came to meet me before we came here.."
Prem looked at her surprised...
K: " prem, pls... Ur mom want to see u getting married..."
Prem looked down and looked at her..
Pr: " im not saying no for marriage.. Im ready for it... (She looked at him.. After a short pause)... If u r ready for it..", he said with pure love..
Kalpi looked away and closed her eyes.. She took a deep breath..
K: " prem, i have a past.. Im a divorcee and.."
Pr: " i dont care about it.. About ur past.. I love you as who u r.. I dont care if u r a divorcee.. I love u...", he said determined..
Kalpi sighed and looked at him being helpless..
K: " i.. Prem.. U.. U r a wonderful person... U r a perfect guy that any girl would love prem.. U can get a better girl than me.. U deserve someone who can give u love and happiness.. Why dont u marry such girl?", she asked him looking straight at his eyes..
Pr: " because they are not u kalpi..", he said with love...
He slowly brought his hand and caressed her cheek.. Kalpi looked at him with no expression while he looked at her lovingly... He brought his face nearer to hers.. His eyes are closed.. He was about to kiss her with their lips in an inch distance...
"I love him..", she muttered softly.. A single dear dropped from her eye...
Prem opened his eyes to meet with her dark brown eyes.. He looked down and distanced himself from her..
There were silence...
Both didnt utter a single word instead they looked front...
Pr: " u.. U want to go back to him again?", he couldnt help but question her because he loves her so much..
K: " no... Never..", she muttered shaking her head in no..
Kalpi stood up to go to her canopy..
Pr: " kalpi..", he called out..
She stopped her back facing him..
Pr: " if u ever.. I mean if one day, u forget him and thought to move on in ur life..(a short pause)... Always remember that this prem khanna is there waiting for u..", he said with full sincerity and love..
Kalpi didnt say anything and made her way to her canopy..
At raizada mansion...
R: " what is it?", he asked looking at the envelope in sammy's hand..
S: " chudail..", he said..
R: " what?", he asked confused..
S: " haan.. The chudail's photo to whom papa decided to get me married too..", he said uninterested..
Raghav let a small laughter..
R: " u mean ur would be wife?"
S: " whatever... Papa said she is a doctor.. Gosh, how can i spend my life with a doctor? She will smell medicine.. My whole life will be like staying at a hospital.. And i myself feel like a patient... ", he said making faces..
R: " sammy nothing like that.."
S: " oh.. I know.. Ur kalpi is a doctor.. Thats why u r saying this..."
R: " just see the photo yaar.."
S: " as u wish.. Lets see how the chudail look like.."
S: " papa said her name is..", he said while taking out the photo..
Both raghav and sammy saw her photo.. Raghav was shocked..
S:" urghh.. What was her name?", he tried to remember..
R: " pakhi.. Pakhi kapoor..."
S: " haan.. Yes.. That was.. Wait!!! How do you know her name?", he asked in confusion looking at raghav's shocked face...
Raghav looked at sammy..
S: " what happened raghav? How do u know her name?", he asked placing his hand on raghav's shoulder..
R: " she.. She is kalpi's best friend..", he said while sammy looked at him seriously...
Note: Prem is not a bad guy... In fact he is a very genuine person with heart of gold.. He sincerely in love with kalpi and want to marry her and give her all the happiness.. He is such a character that any girl would expect in a guy...So, pls don't hate him...pls... It is not his fault to fall in love with kalpi.. Love just happens.. And his love is true... Hope u guys understand..😃
